Has anyone ever had this problem before? It was fine earlier but now this thing appears when I try to launch the game
The message is like “Failed to download list file. Please try again as administrator. updater/patcher.version.txt (1082)”
It literally means restart Steam and when you do, run it under Administrator Privileges. Your name doesn’t have the rights to download things restricted by your OS.
If that isn’t it, it’s most likely just a steam error.
Use a VPN to download the patch.
