Fade removes damage counter? Intended or a bug?

Bug Description :
Using Clerics “Fade”-Skill will reset the counted damage done on enemies.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Deal a lot of damage on a boss or worldboss
  2. Use fade
  3. Once the boss / worldboss is killed you will not be included in the ranking or will be at last place since FADE resetted the counter for damage that you dealt on the enemy

Is this a bug or intended effect? As a sadhu I use FADE all the time. I can not receive any prices in worldboss hunting due to this. Sadhu really needs Safety Zone and Fade…so, how are we supposed to get worldboss loot?

It’s intended.

The reason why is because Fade is coded in such a way that a monster believes you are dead (dying, of course, also wipes out all contribution, from what I’ve heard). Safety Zone is 100% fine, but Fade in a world boss is a big no-no.

Nah, you can still be amazingly useful as a Sadhu. You’ve just gotta bamf up your defense so you won’t die towards the end.

I’ve never been to a world boss fight myself yet because my computer is a piece of ■■■■ lag machine, so I can’t say much on how easy that is c’:

When using Out of Body your defense is 0…so, DEF doesnt help :slight_smile:
