šŸ‘ F2P population Influx-deflate šŸ‘

At this moment Telsia(SEA) and Ferdiminian(EU) are as full as Klaipedia and Orsha servers. There would another massive influx of players by April 21 due to discounted EA. Making all servers as full as they are already which may prompt for a 5th Server. Perhaps LA or another interim server to handle the influx.

The issue comes with the server transfer. As SEA and EU are already full IMC might back out offering players to transfer there, but create a new server, not Telsia or Ferdiminian, but new SEA and EU server to cater to transfering players.

A plausible addition of SA server means it will get the same population tranfers.

This too will blot out a major population in the NA servers, particularly Orsha. As alot of Orsha player are from brazil. And might turn Orsha into a ghost town as its other players will transfer to EU, SEA and plausible LA.

Now given that IMC likes to take back their words and change decision at the whim. Will IMC still allow transfer to those servers despite the stated above? deplete and influx of player population.

Or will there be server merging or new server for the transferees?

If Orsha will be close to being deleted then there’s practically no choice but to Merge Klai and Orsha

Then again, I still don’t understand the constraints as to why Klai <-> Orsha transfer is not allowed despite being in the same database all along. Well not unless they’re only using the centralized database to keep Team names unique, that would make things hard haha

Maybe just increase server capacity, no need for new server

Why would orsha be deleted

if it’s empty they will leave it for people to fill it and not create more server until it is filled…

heck, I love low populated servers…

they have less lag, crashes and of course… less jerks trying to step on you or/and ks

Yeah that’s true but with the case of very low pop, IMC either has the option to dissolve it and merge it or really lower its capacity/processing capability to the extent that can handle only the handful of players.

Though really, I’d love it if a server was kinda not overpopulated too but circumstances are there so yeah xD

Klaipeda(Town) at SEA server is getting fuller day by day

It is indeed worrisome when all SEA players from Orsha and Klaipeda servers transferred along with the influx of F2P players. Oh the horror.

which IMC may cancel their server transfer program for the players already in Orsha, Kalaipedia and Ferdiminian. Since they often changed their minds without a moments notice.

We need LA server!!!

We’re gonna be CommanderLoadFail error all over again XD

idk where you guys come up with any of this info…

first of all, how are the servers going to ā€œempty outā€ at the same time as there is a massive influx of new players?

secondly, the new servers are going to (will have to…) have more capacity than the current ones, and/or more individual servers will be created.
if the EU/SEA servers are full after they actually move to their new homes, they’ll just create additional servers. same with the NA servers.

even a normal brick and mortar business (say, a restaurant) will expand when it expects its customer base to regularly exceed the space available.
the classic line from the movie, ā€œif you build it they will comeā€¦ā€ may not be entirely true… but the reverse is guaranteed: ā€œif you don’t build it, they will leave.ā€ nobody is going to stick around if they have to expect that there will always be queue, waiting, overpopulation, and crashes due to all of that.

From the look of things don by imc so far they will open the new servers at 22/23 and 30. After the fact . we see how good itcworked so far.

I need my transfer to an EU server. If they back off their initial deal then I’m done with this game.

There’s no reason to open fresh new EU or SEA servers. They didn’t open EU server on launch which means most of us are stuck in Klaipeda so I doubt they will open new EU or SEA servers either.

No matter how hard we tell them to. They seem to only lag behind what the community is telling them to do and instead opt into breaking the game with insanely over populated servers.

Right now Klaipeda is playable but I’m still sitting in the game with 270 ping, despite all these ā– ā– ā– ā– -ing idiots on the forum saying use www.cloudping.info to see your ping.

EU transfer needs to stay and not be changed in any way. I need to transfer to Fedimian as soon as possible.

first of all, no one has said ANYTHING official about it changing. OP is just panicking and throwing out wild speculation. my post is also almost entirely speculation, but it’s based on reasonable practices and things like assuming that IMC wants the game to succeed. (to assume they don’t is ridiculous – they sunk money into developing it. they want it to last a good long while to at least make their money back off of it.)

secondly, 270 ping (i’m assuming 270ms / 0.27 seconds) is perfectly playable; 1/3 of a second isn’t going to make or break your experience… most people couldn’t even tell.

finally; a server-transfer right now isn’t going to help you. the servers are all currently physically on the East Coast USA… so switching between them isn’t likely to change your ping much. they (according to their updates) are currently looking for suitable hosting in the EU and SEA, and when that is ready, the servers will be transferred there. and THEN the server transfers will happen. we should expect the server transfers as we get closer to the F2P release.
