I believe I received a whisper when the issue started. I was running a 300 dungeon, and all of a sudden ran into crashing issues as OP mentioned. Noticed I had some PM notifications, which is unusual for me. >_>

Seems like it so far. I tried revalidation and jumping on different channels in Klai.
Currently have 2 PMs, and can log in, but can’t really move or click on the notification without the crashing issue.
Something must have happened since this morning. When I logged in this morning it was fine. Now I was able to get in on my one character not in Klaipeda, but I did see what looked like backlogged missed PMs. I had 19, but moving my mouse anywhere near the chat window caused the game to crash instantly. This is after validating.
Same here x_x game drops to 0.03 FPS when I check my chatbox or whispers…
Is this only Klaipeda? I saw a similar post from silute a bit ago. Let me look for it and edit
Same problem , after grind on 340 HG , back klaipeda and my client hard freezz . Fedimian server

Edit: It appears to work and I was able to pull up chat list. Found a team name associated with when this started. Are you able to verify an “Absorli” messaging you? (could be coincidental)
Same problem is happening with me and my guildmates, game loads, then freezes after a few seconds and then goes to a white screen for a long time. When it finally loads, moving the mouse cursor over the chat window makes it freeze and go back to white screen. Also noticed we received a ton of blank whispers.
I can confirm that some called “Absorli” whispered me and my guildmates. We all got whispered a “Heya” followed by a bunch of blank whispers.

My situation is the same, I used the daily event ticket to teleport to Klai Ch1 and when I loaded in, I was able to move around for 2 to 3 seconds, then my screen went white. Not sure about a whisper, but my entire chat log disappeared. Trying to determine if it is addon related or what. I can no longer load into the game. It lets me load in, but as soon as the loading screen finishes, the game just turns white. I hear music, but no sound effects.
Guys I’m having the same exact issue but I didn’t notice any whispers cause I was jumping around the market area. What happened to me was that I instantly went to 0fps and then about 10 secs later it came back and then froze again and the game became unresponsive. I logged back in and it did the same thing so I had to close the game out.
Now I’m in the launcher redownloading files and its literally taking over an hour and I’m at 41%. It’s going 1% at every 5 minutes as if the whole game is redownloading and it’s super slow. I’m thinking the new patch caused a game breaking bug. Has anyone else revalidated their files and are stuck at 1% per 5 mins patching speed?
Also it usually only takes me 5 mins to revalidate and repatch. Not several hours at this rate.

The forums have been going down/slowing too. It’s probably a mix between a chat bug and DDoS?
This is as intentional as it gets.
I don’t usually get notifications and I’ve managed to get out of this issue by waiting through the freezes and leaving the conversion with this person. The chat was also empty.
Boom. +1 on Absorli. Are we able to get any more verification on this? Anyone else?

Actually I wasn’t sure if it was relevant or not, But ya Wolfy, The brief time my frame decided to go beyond 0.23 and refreshed my screen. I seen 13 new messages. I suspected maybe a spam glitch? But that’s just a guess
