Extend early access due to so many problems!

as the title says i thinnk IMC should extend early access or at the very least add more benefits to those who bought founders packs, the amount of bull crap we had to take while we paid for this game is too much tbh and though they’re clearly trying their best i think to fix it its just too much for a game they required people to pay frst to play. I hope they’l think about this suggestion

cheers!

Except everyone BEGGED for the early access to be this length, of one month. As the saying goes, You have made your bed, now you must sleep in it. be glad they are extending token time as is.

I would rather they just compensate the tokens and fix issues. It’s pointless to delay actual launch tbh.

Tons of people are just waiting for IMC’s free transfer which will probably ease klaipeda and orsha traffic load.

And what kind of compensation are you asking? More EXP tomes? I’d rather have an extension.

tbh id take the bloody tomes!

im just putting the idea of an extension out there because, think about it guys everyone who is playing this game payed for it, and the service is so shitty imagine when the amount of players would increase exponentialy due to the previous hype of the game. what then? i dont think IMC is at the competency level to handle such a growth of players atm when they cant even handle the current player base they currently have.

Tbh, it’s our own fault for believing IMC’s capability to deliver. They literally release the same buggy version of CBT client and we as players got baited on by their “early access” crap which is just a better wording for “Open beta”.

So yea… we actually paid to test open beta for them.

yep true that m8, the fact that they said early access gave the players an impression of a semi clean game, not a beta game.
and the funny thing is people usually get paid to test and not the other way around ROFLMAO

I actually agree with you, but for completely different reasons. I think they should extend the Early Access, not to give people more benefits, but because I do not think 1 month is enough time for them to get the game into a ‘Release’ state.

If in 1 month the game launches and all of the problems have not been worked out, I feel like they may lose too many potential players to ever recover.

They originally wanted 3 months until release, I think they should go back to that plan. Players have seen the current state of the game, and are not happy. IMC clearly needs more time to get their ■■■■ together. They also lowered the cost of entry by 80%, down to $10 USD. I think players will be more accepting of a 3 month EA now.

Most games CHOOSE their testers, open beta slots are normally given to close beta testers as priority since they help with the testing.

Here we pay to be guaranteed “chosen”

Personaly im want an ingame item with a “CommanderLoadFAIL” in its description, without any stats. Just for memories =) Let it be a cap, or pet, or title.

I disagree man. a month is already weird enough, though much better than 3 months. Extended tokens and dungeon resets would be better.

It’s definitely a nice thing to be compensated and a show of sincerity from a company, but what’s appealing/good to a player may not be what’s good for the game. I’m also irked that I may not progress as much as I hoped before more competition comes in, but I really don’t believe in making the gap wider. IMC can easily learn from this, as bad at estimates they can be HAHA.

unless they’re too poor to afford servers or whatnot, but a closed period of testers who basically won’t bring in much new income because the packs give so many bonuses already probably won’t bring in much more money.

I’d even support an extended period of game shutdown to fix bugs versus this, like a CBT gap. Game’s fun, people will still play regardless. It’s better to just want the bugs to be fixed versus them taking the time to constantly compensate players imo. two seperate things, I know, but sort of distracting.

what?! it was originally 3 mo? why dont they do that? whats with the 1 mo BS and with so many bugs, the increase player population will only make it worse

Because most people especially veterans/streamers will finish and quit in 3 months of “early access”. When f2p hits, tons of people would have left anyway.

But most people who voted No for 3 months are those who didn’t want to even pay. They felt salty not being able to play while others could.

What??? No, this is a terrible idea. Which is why so many people voted for the 1 month option in the first place.

We’re in a fun situation now so I guess here are the options:

  1. Go back to 3 months founders time:

I want you to go find a sizeable population of F2P players who would be willing to play a game where at launch they are already 3 months behind people who paid money to play… Why do people think EVE online doesn’t get so many new players anymore? Nobody wants to start a game months or years “behind”.

  1. Continue as is and try to compensate players for their inconvenience: This is pretty much the do nothing option I guess

  2. Put the game on haitus to allow for more development time:
This is basically as bad as the 1st option, it’s the nuclear option. Although I guess FFXIV did it… I don’t think imc has those kind of resources.

  3. Buy some more damn servers and start spinning them up!!!
How about we have imc do this?

Asking for Exclusive Access to be extended is the same as saying don’t let the 100,000 people waiting for launch in yet. Making them wait longer would be a HUGE shite-storm, and I’d rather not read 80 threads of angry posts about that, thanks

If they do that, F2P players will probably raise their pitch forks and torches, and burn the game down.

but if they dont do something about the numerous bugs now would the f2p players still burn the game down? for an even better reason than a much later game release?

oh and btw guys if you get your character stuck and report it/ add it to their list somewhere in the forum i forgot where you get banned so i dont think they plan on fixing this any day sooon.

They definitely are going to fix the bugs. Like the conversion magic circle quest that doesn’t respond.

What buggers me why now. Those bugs are from CBT yet they only start fixing them now after people throw in their money.

yep this is what i mean it like the game is still on beta and not EARLY ACCESS kek!
