How is being yourself considered as roleplaying?

Will be playing as a Female of course lol
Iām a male and most of the time i create male characters, except for my second account (so my main character can have a waifu), because i want to feel like i was there fighting, just as like a full immersion game would be.
I donāt even care about males making females chars, but what if you play a game like SAO, or some sort of virtual reality one, i think males will think it twice before making female chars xD.

Itās already known that a large portion of male players will generally create a female character. You shouldnāt need an excuse or justification just to play a character of the opposite gender as you. But to answer the question I will always go towards the gender that appeals the most to me and in TOS the femaleās designs are much more appealing (I do play as a male to from time to time like in Monster Hunter as the male armor is much more pleasing over the female counterpart.)

I will be a male, so that I can create as close a representation as I can to myself in this game world, as I usually do in every game I play with the option to customize my character.

I have always, since i began playing online games played with a female avatar simply because i am a pervert and with the thousands of hours i put into MMOās i need to make sure iām enjoying it as much as i can!

Iām a gay and I usually play with male characters but I almost always make a female one. When I play with my female one I always state that Iām male irlā¦ because horny guys areā¦ annoying (especially that they want my girl char and not me haha XD ) ā¦and I make female chars sometime becauseā¦ I dunnoā¦ only my main char represents meā¦ the others have their own personality/identityā¦ and Iām not into crossdressing but I like to dress female chars 
I think even irl I would enjoy go shopping and help a girl choose dresses XD but I wouldnāt wear any female clothes and in games itās quite good that I have a girl char that I can make look good for my taste and my taste only. Itās fun to me.

it went offtopic so fast.
i myself am a female and i prefer playing with female characters. but people always think iām a guy, which is hilarious (maybe itās the way i talk and actā¦ maybe i seem like a dude :'D)
when iām playing an mmo like tera in which most of the armor arent really armor, more like lingerie, i prefer playing a character like elin (cute little girl with animal ears) because it doesnt look slutty. (when you have actual boobs you dont really need to have virtual ones :'D)
i will also be making only female characters on here too 8)

We are PLAYING a GAME. When you PLAY a GAME, in this case Role Playing Game, you are acting a character. The whole thing about games is that itās an imaginary situation, it is NOT REAL. This is not āplay what you are in real lifeā. The whole idea of a game is to wonder in all kinds of fantastic situations the game lets you part take in.
If we are to not play this or that gender because we are not that gender irl thenā¦ I can totally play a necromancer voodoo ninja chef cos I totally bring the dead back to life in real life, and Iām a master at stealthy cooking all sorts of weird things in real life! Like, for realz! Cos thereās no way that I could play a knight class cos I donāt know how to swing a sword irl, right? What am I thinking!?

This morning i was thinking if there are a topic like that and i found it. Well, i like playing with female caracters and i never tought that shemale is disrespectfull. I play like that because i like cute stuff, just that. (>Ļ<)
