Hi everyone, I’ve been doing some experimenting with my Melee Mage build for a while and I think it’s better to share and get more opinions and hopefully reach the IMC’s dev.
Originally, my build is a Support-DPS, but I see many potentials with the melee auto attack (mainly dagger) so I gave it a try.
There are several keys in this build:
Enchant Fire: Temporarily grants the fire property to you and your party member’s attacks. Fire DMG is improve-able by obtain ‘Fire Attack’ bonus (same mechanic as Sacrament, only smaller buff range).
Swell Left Arm: Enlarge the size of your and party member’s hand and increase attack. Increase P.ATK & M.ATK. Important to improve Dagger’s dmg.
Quicken: Temporarily increases the attack speed of you and your party members by manipulating time. Attribute increase 2% Crit Rate per level.
Or any dagger with Fire Attack and decent Physical Attack. (I couldn’t get this so I use Arde Dagger instead)
Here’s video of me testing the build with many stats allocation (INT/STR/DEX) and conclusion of it.
Full STR give you extra dmg, but weapon dmg > STR and it’s enhance-able, you’ll also miss a lot.
Full DEX give you crit rate but your crit dmg is crap, evasion is a plus.
Full INT, not gonna talk about it.
