Experience Rate / Game Difficulty

So, I read a lot of articles and I was wondering how much time would I use to get a character to its maximum level. As far as Ive read, it looks pretty easy to do so. Is it true that some people actually managed to reach the characters max level in less than three days? Is that due to the x2 XP rate they included in the 2nd CBT?

I seriously, seriously hope they’re going to decrease the xp rate so it’ll increase the game’s lifespan*. Im saying all this in comparisson to when I used to play RO when it came out. It had low XP rates and I really loved it.

One more thing Im worried about is the leveling system. I dont know what it is, but after watching some vids I feel like there is something missing there. I know the game wasnt even released yet but thats what I felt. I hope Im wrong and that its actually really fun.

Cheers

Are you talking about iCBT?

The very small minority of people that played for many hours reached around 100 after the entire iCBT, which is half of the iCBT cap, and the overall game cap is 500 in the future (according to map data).

We don’t know what official xp rates will be like.

Leveling is pretty fun and gets non-linear around ~80, different classes excel in different areas. Once your past 100, mobs have interesting skills, etc.

For the Korean version, the exp rate was upped extremely because they wanted people to reach level 200 to test classes and balancing.

Did you even play the game ? If you read alot of articles, have in mind that the game is kinda grindy.
And dont ever again mention decreasing exp here. Or i will pray to the chicken god to turn you into corn.

@lorde_viana If I had played it I wouldnt even be asking those questions.

Dude he is obviously talking of the korean beta, where people got to level 200 in less than 3 days. Calm down lol.

Actually in the last Kcbt the cap decreased to 200 since 250 in Kcbt2. I think the first cap is not high and the rates in the release are more curved.

The first cap was 250, with massive exp events throughout that beta.

The 3rd beta, is 200, with scaled exp, and now perma x3 on top of it.

Both were much higher than iCBT so players could test higher level content.

I see, thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

The rate is much higher than 2x in kbct and the max level won’t be 200. Here the best we got were some players 100+, and the ones I saw exploited a quest. Remember the exp curve is very high.
You can be sure that, IF we get the same rates as the icbt (which I doubt), we won’t have anyone max level before some months.

Spending more than a month to get max level is actually something fine to me. Its not like I have a lot of time to play but I do like to spend my time on lvling up, killing monsters, doing quests and etc. But I havent played it so again, I might be stupidly wrong. Its just that I want that feeling to last longer or something.

Did you even played the closed beta English version(iCBT)?
If you played the international version, the exp rate can’t even compare to the Korean version(Korean version got that ridiculous exp rate).
