Expect a [SA] Silute server overload

What I’m saying is, I have a group of friends, I’m the only one who played it before F2P and all. Only amongst my friends, we got 10 people. That’s 9 F2P for 1 Non-F2P. If you get my point, not saying that this is the average in Brazil, I’m saying that there will be a lot of cases like this.

ToS is being regarded as a spiritual sucessor to Ragnarok. Ragnarok was ridiculously popular here. There will be TONS of people joining the game and quite frankly, I don’t think only one server will handle it. From what I’ve gathered, seeing brazillian forums and facebook groups and from what you guys seem to be doing (public, that is), you’ll struggle with a lot of angry players who can’t play the game in the first week, a good portion who’ll just leave, claiming it to be laggy/crowded and lots of disappointed fans.

My suggestion, would be to create a new server or improve Silute’s capacity. The resources you spend on doing that will be easily recovered on TP/Token sales.

That’s just me and my opinion, feel free to ignore it, but as the saying goes:
“Quem avisa, amigo é” — “Forewarned is forearmed”

… thank you Captain Obvious.

Then I might try Fedimian 'til things die down a bit over there. I know ping-wise it sucks, but less crashes are always welcome.

pick the server you plan to play on long-term.

there are no announcements about planned transfers in the future except for founders.
or… wait till day 2.

we had the EU and SEA server open up on the first and second day of Founders’ launch; altho they weren’t actually physically in the correct geographic regions… but still, no telling how many servers will be opened up in the first week

Thanks but I was planning to play on both servers from the start. Got friends in both really, both latin and spanish players.

oh, well there you go then haha.

Silute is lagging right now for no reason even, almost unplayable for me and it’s not even F2P yet.

I might have to take this week off the game.

yes, no reason at all.

i mean, aside from a very high population, and being DDoS’ed.

(oh wait, my bad, there’s no DDoS, that’s just part of the conspiracy.)

The high population has nothing to do with it considering there was a lot more people when we got here fresh from the transfer and there was no lag at all.

And I know about the DDoS, don’t worry.

The same over here in Argentina so… i think the few days will be horrible to play… maybe we cant enter or even try the game before the bots kill the game haha

Nevermind it started working wonderfully 2 minutes ago. Weird. Also from argentina.

Population isn’t even close to be high enough to lag the server. Potato computers for the server is what we got if that is the problem.

Well, yeah, but nobody’s saying it out loud.
