Exp tome’s don’t seem to jack anymore even with the tokens the dungeons with both are somewhat okay , but constant grinding get’s bland an annoying for what a 1 percentage or so every 3-5 kills exp tomes an tokens are supposed to make lvling quicker an somewhat funner but I don’t see that happening honestly hence do they even know how much of a hassle it is to lvl for those dungeons also? It’s like people are tossing money away for a half ass project I mean the game is cool an all but what kind of decent minded people would play an pay for something that’s half assed functional? Plus I can’t even party with my friends or let alone make any because the games unstability scared an pissed them off so we get left with these bot’s an hacker’s f’ing crap up before all these issues this game was on an overcrowded like ragnork but now it’s a ghost town with bots an moody folks like why I am still here. Fix this ■■■■ an listen to us for once I repeat no more BS UPDATES for money to hell with that with want a stable an fun environment from what was before all this Hooplah.

While
playing I noticed that the experience I was gaining wasn’t really
lining up with what I was expecting, so I looked into it, and here’s
what I found.
Experience from token, exp tome, team level, and map bonus (more on this later) stack additively.Experience bonus from partying multiplies with the base rate.Experience penalty (from being too high or too low level) multiplies with both.
That makes sense, but map bonus is new. What is map bonus?
Well it turns out that all maps, depending on their difficulty, have a
multiplier to the experience gained. For example, 2nd Demon Prison has a
bonus of 268.4%. All maps have their own unique bonus, and they stack addatively with your other exp bonuses.
Lets work this out. As an example, the monster ‘Confined Long Branch
Tree’ shows in the journal as giving 1578 experience. That’s definitely
not what you get though when you kill it though, you get considerably
more.
So your base exp rate is (obviously) 100%. As mentioned above, the
map bonus for 2nd demon prison is is 268.4%. If you have a token, you
get an additional 30% bonus. If you’re using a tome, you get another 30%
bonus. And if you have any team level bonus, you add that as well.
Lets say you have team level 6 (5% bonus) and a token. If you add it
all up, you’d get 403.4%. 403.4% of 1578 experience is 6366 experience.
If you then used an EXP Tome, you’d have 433.4%, for 6839 experience.
This should match exactly what you’d see in the client if you use any
kind of exp viewer mod.
As you can see though, that exp tome isn’t adding 30% as it says it
does… in fact, you’re only getting an increase of 7%! And as you get
to higher level maps, it will just get worse. Is that really worth your
9TP?
Luckily, missions and dungeons don’t use this map modifier, so the
+30% should be closer to an actual 30% increase. It also multiplies
correctly like you’d expect with the party and match making bonuses.

– Just look up the map and the RewardEXPBM amount. (For the curious,
the MonGenCheckTime and LMonGenCheckTime columns are how long it takes
for normal monsters and large monsters to respawn, in milliseconds.)
Don’t expect any major updates before the rank 8 comes. We are merging versions with the kTOS repository. They won’t risk making conflicts before such a merge. I’d bitch about it after it
Hmm your probaly right atm i’m close to my next rank but I seem to be stuck but theirs no grind parties to be found -_-
The rant however was just talking about how the xp tomes are semi worthless, but the main complaint is how unstable the game is to where we are loosing half the community making it hard to new player’s to party with other’s, especially with the bot’s an hackers present I just honestly want that resolved just like everyone else before they make more updates making it worse…
Thats why getting them as compensations or event rewards is nice. But no sane person would ever waste money on them.
