I’m just wondering that will my friend exp rate getting lower if I’m helping my friend lvl 32 to do quest while my lvl is 121 on Equal exp mode of party setting
*Don’t mind if my English is bad xD
You can find more information in this page: http://treeofsavior.wikia.com/wiki/Party
Receive Separately: EXP goes to the party member that killed the monster and no one else.
Equal Distribution: EXP for each kill is shared equally amongst all party members.
Scale by Level: EXP rewards will adjust to each party member’s level.
So that mean, if you choose Equal Exp mode, you and your friend will get the same Exp. But since your level are too high (121 vs 3x), u won’t get any exp from mobs.
So, if I put Scale by level mode…my friend will get the exp more than mine right? It’s based on our level am I right?
Do you know which setting or lv mob to kill if I want to help my low level friend lv up?
ex. Me 179 and friend 66?
I don’t know much about Level mode (exp) so i can’t say anything about it.
In some game, i will give more exp to the higher level player but some will give more exp to lower level player.
I doubt in ToS will be the 2nd case, which will give more exp to lower level player.
But if you wanna help your friend leveling, you should grind at a place that have a higher level than your friend but not higher then 10+.
Example: Your friend is 66, you should grind in a area with 67-76 lvl. Best is 76. If higher than 76, exp will be worse.
We try lv 50 dgn once when he lv 60 while I’m 179
I try set all 3 setting but he didn’t get any exp.
Well, we will need more research, but since they take down the exp counter, it’s harder to test.
I saw a exp counter program on reddit, you can try it.
I didn’t see any information about this yet. So maybe there is a system prevent higher level player can help lower level player?
So sad that i’m stuck in this CBT, made 7-8 charracter and can’t get 100+ level. I will wait until the game get more stable and try this by myself, but atm i suggest you should use “Scale by Level” mode, and grind in a place that have 10 level a head with your friend.
Edit: You can let’s him hit the mobs few time then you will kill them after that. See it’s counted or not.
Yes I try let him hit first but still not get exp.
So that mean, higher level player can’t help lower level player grind…
If it, we should have system let us reduce levels down by our friends, then we can help them.
im pretty both of you will receive almost no exp at all if you choose to grind at a low level place. when i was level 20 ish i playe with my level 70 friend. my exp gain was like 0.01% vs like 2% solo grind
not sure if you grind at a high level place though
More info here:
Seems that the system favors high level for experience even with equal share?
