Was using Grynas plate armor (lvl 50 attribute) with Didel Tower Shield, 91 con, 18k hp, full buffs. Still those mages kicked my behind. It doesn’t matter anymore because I deleted game client and have no plans to return. Will not waste my nerves trying to survive doing those quests solo. IMC decided to push game towards only party play. Oh well. Thanks, but no thanks. Was fun leveling my char. The only thing I regret is not upgrading my Didel Grand Cross all the way ( was +10) before deleting the game from my computer( I had some moneys saved for rank 8 - 21.5 kk). Just to see how far it could go.

edit also had Superior gem bracelets +3 x2 and max peta +3 equipped <- thats where most of magic defense comes from, not from wearing plate armour and CON

This is mostly for going against physical attacks with the exception of HP working against both physical and magical attacks as a sponge.

The minuscule m-def you get from wearing a Didel TS would not mahou-shoujo transform you into a magic-tanker. :stuck_out_tongue:

Plate isn’t always ideal if monsters deal Strike type.

The 5% extra defense reduction from going 4 plate vs 3 plate is inferior to just slapping on some Leather and getting a 25% extra reduction instead of being hit for 50% more damage when monster attack isn’t being mitigated to 1 outright.

You are right. If only i have known that IMC would decide to implement in rank 8 those ridiculous mages. I should have went full SPR on my char (QS3Wugu3) to be ready for them. Full SPR and Clothes! What was I thinking? Downloading this marvellous game again! Thank you kind sir! And that minuscule 96 mdef from didel tower shield. Omg, who needs it with full SPR QS3Wugu3!

Meh. Just quit the game. Unless there is a class that sell buff that increase Mdef proportionally, like Asperision, not Barrier scroll. Only that can help you against mage. Else, You will be raped when rank 9 come. No cleric can help you in that point.

I literally have 9 entire maps of uncompletable quests, be it missing npcs, npcs that wont talk to you, missing quest objects etc, my entire quest journal is full of blank quests that just say “no objective”.
Ontop of literally 3/4 of the new content NOT WORKING we are getting commander load fail left and right. People are d/cng in pvp constantly, others have lost all their daily missions.
Don’t even get me started on the new content itself, all my attributes are 70 or higher, double sissel bracelets, max peta, t7 gems, basically BiS everything and ive died about 200x today, 1250 evasion, doesn’t matter, zone into a new area and there are 2 archers waiting at the door to spiral arrow me for 25,000dmg before I can even move or push 1 button.
Fix the goddamn servers IMC, and you better seriously reconsider this new “balancing” before you lose half of the 5k or so players you have left.

I like the fact theyre full of pride and yet publicly told they have sucky build and hoping to dumb down the difficulty to adjust to their level.

Definitely zones I don’t want to do without a party… Preferably one with a sage.

Those… mages… in the castle zone those things are the worst. xD

Spiral arrow though… yeah you should dodge those.

Well… actually they plan to for swordsmen at some point. They were thinking of new mechanics to do it but haven’t released anything yet.

I’m worried about high level bots that can kill elites if they don’t make it complex though. If they just make swordies take no dmg… that could be an issue.

Missile hole is too good, it completely blocks those ■■■■■■■ archers

ya the “git good” people are in for a surprise when they try to do the 2nd floor of the stalactite area, its wall to wall archers and their accuracy is through the roof, I have 1250+ evasion and I get hit for 25k spiral arrows constantly, very few dodges
