Every quest is broken, mobs hit for a 3rd of youre hp a shot, great job imc

Ah well theirs your problem, your using Inquisitor when ya shoulda been something else or taoist. Inquisitor works best with Circle 3 Paladin and a Dex/Con build. With PD thrown in for utility/extra healing / Incinerate or Monk for more raw damage, thanks to Breaking wheel.

My chaplain build woulda been a Int/con with a little spirit utilizing C2 Cleric, C3 Priest, Chaplain, and 2 plague doctor. Because of the int, my AA attacks would be high, my heals high, my incinerate would do alot of damage and then some, basically a excellent solo build. Reason I decided to not finish leveling it is because I liked the aspect of my Palaquisitor build instead.

Chaplain build woulda had much more support and healing as well as good steady damage and versatility, but Palaquisitor is ridiculously powerful. Long as you have the gear.

I am high spr build and was also gonna go Oracle!! Are you my Dopplganger? Right now I’m C1 -> Priest3 -> Chap -> C2 -> Planning on Oracle for R7. But I was waiting to see how Miko might synergize with Chaplain. If there is synergy there, I’ll probably wait and go Miko -> Inquis. But I want to see it in practice before I make a decision.

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t say I had a problem. In fact I was not complaining at all. I was just answering @Hilsun’s question. I’m doing just fine and I don’t need advise. Thanks

I will respec to remove God Smash anyway. 0 issues on my end, I’m in a testing phase, so far loving MM.

the spike is too much this isn’t challengingly fun its challengingly frustrating
I don’t mind if its not solo friendly but this game isn’t non meta friendly either even in normal grind.

Thats good then. Your build is excellent for support, but ya really shoulda went with 2 ranks of pd or something else, but hey, dont play meta, play whats fun for you like you been doing, thats the most important thing is to have fun.

Like I said, I play my way, no regrets. I’m not poor, not poorly geared either. Never had issues because I actually play well, I always carry a Lv5 Daino scroll and Lv1 Barrier scroll for party play (Saalus). I really don’t care much for being with other people. I support perfectly fine with 0 interest in ET/PvP/GvG/TBL and whatnot. I was never interested in PD, still ain’t.

You say I should have fun but you’re trying to shove PD/other classes down my throat LoL. (peace)

@Hilsun
Haha! I just did what I wanted. I can always make a Miko if I ever fancy it.

Im not shoving it, just basically putting it out there for others who are clerics to see.

And with Magnus ā€œfixedā€, I guess those numbers are beautiful now. <3

Aye, with anyone using a Int Chaplain build, Magnus is now glorious. If I ever decide to level my Chaplain again ill stick to my int for sure.

I just saw that they have another on-hit effect, but I’m skeptical because 1) the damage seems real, real low, B) I’m not sure whether it provides another instance of damage(like Cafrisun), or adds that amount onto every occurring instance (like Arde), and third, I’m not sure whether you need to channel the dance in order to provide the buff, or if it continues lasting after the dance, etc. I need answers. :frowning:

Yea that is interesting to note. i hope @Wurmheart can find some information on that and post it in his thread. Another on hit effect would be nice for Chaplain, may be worth me removing a rank of PD to put into Miko if thats the case. Id give up the Cleric 2 but the healing is honestly sorely needed and Divine Might is still too good to lose.

It feels like Rank 7 is just a filler for Inquisitor at this point if you’re going Chaplain. At least that’s how I felt. xD

I’m excited for that as well. For now, I’m gonna get to Class 15 before I reset skills. I went Chaplain long before R8 was ever teased, let alone announced. I wanted to AA and solo a lot and that’s exactly what I did. The Oracle was what I really wanted. To leave behind deadly mobs.

@alexandrious2001 I definitely should’ve just PM’d @Hilsun for my answer. No one should really follow my build per se (I didn’t even suggest it as ā€œviableā€ or whatnot). It’s going to be a nightmare for them if they don’t know why I did what I did :zipper_mouth:

@Hilsun I haven’t looked into Miko that far yet. Next on my to-do list is decide my distribution for my C2-K3-D2-Taoist (which accidentally became meta).

Aye. Well I hope @Wurmheart gets around to testing, if Miko can boost the AA damage of Chaplain in some great way, id be interested. It may be worth sacrificing Plague Doctor 2…id have to weigh the pros and cons I guess. PD2 got some pretty awesome stuff as well specially for PVP.

I pretty much level my Palaquisitor for when a secondary support with gigantic burst damage and melee aiding utility is needed, I want my Chaplain Doctor for generally PVP but to be the primary cleric in groups for when heavy heals and support is more needed.

BTW (if you want), you can record yourself and post some videos about your Chapquisitor so we can see how it is done. I’m so tired of meta builds tbh.

Once I do that, people will see it as an endorsement of my build and they’ll tell me ā€œyou should have done this, that / lol Chaplain… etc.ā€.

As evidenced in this very thread, the mere mention of a build immediately gets followed up by unsolicited advise, even when I said I knew what I was doing and was in no way looking for help.

I’m kinda tired of that as well + my data cap is about to be reached and it’s only the 12th of the month. YT uploads are a b*tch.

What I would suggest is that you continue playing w/e char you have at your own terms. The way I did. If you’re unhappy with it, ultimately it’s only you who’s upset. This way you can sate your curiosity without anyone being able to tell you ā€œI told you soā€. Of course it’s better if you make informed decisions, I know I did. At the end, I stringed together a build that I knew I’d have fun leveling up as, using and ultimately playing and bringing up to w/e cap we had (side note, this specific character is ranked #3 in Varena under Adventure Journal points).

I never abandoned this character, nor did I ever experience a moment of weakness when the new shinier classes were announced/came out.

Spoke to WoV NPC Lena as soon as I logged in earlier and got a Lv13 card right away. I dunno which mob it was for but oh well. A small perk for being a completionist I guess. (the blank spaces are for the new skills + exorcise/magnus once I get em).

Oh, I don’t mind that. I just wanted to see like a small sample. I am planning to go Inqui myself because I love the idea of following a RP tradition and I think Inquisitor will go well with my Chaplain.

We’ll see, I’m not fully satisfied yet, probably until I hit Class 15 and reset the skills. I also want to know more about how Exorcise turned to Magnus will interact with Breaking Wheel (which I have at Lv1 atm).

Too many what ifs, makes me anxious-excited. This is why I play, it’s still fun despite everything. When it no longer is, I’ll just be gone.

PS: I’m slowly losing my mind with this ā€œProof of Innocenceā€ quest. I can’t seem to pinpoint where to ā€œtriggerā€ the quest properly for it to finish. Either that or it’s broken. :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL we pretty much have identical builds except I have 280 CON 160 SPR (including equips).

Been at work all day, thanks for info on malleus I will spec that 1st :3
