Events in general

I’ve been playing about since the game came out of beta, so, I’ve had my share of events. I like that this game is trying to provide a different event experience than the Korean server, but this game and the management is absolutely atrocious when it comes to communication of the events.

The last fishing event was a prime example. People had no idea what the difference between the baits were, what ‘rate’ it was affecting, and why they had to pay x10 for a ‘better’ bait. Why can you mention what the drop rates are for a leticia’s cube and goddess cubes, but not the event loot? mention which drops are actually the event drops and not the fishing drops? How are we supposed to know we aren’t getting bugged loot, which could be ripped out of our hand later?

Now this event with the Master’s Unit. Badges are not dropping, and there’s no response, not even one acknowledging there is a problem, whether a bug or a communication one, or a design one. Which ever problem it is, there is a demand for you guys to respond to relieve the stress of your player base. IF it is a bug, why are you not saying you will look into it. IF it is a communication issue, where you forgot to mention it was a random drop, why is it so hard to say? IF it is just a poorly designed event where the reset timers for the dungeon and loot limit are separated and possibly leave a gap where you can do the run without receiving your badges, why aren’t we being explained to, or warned about, or pointed to the event page?

There was even that one event, where the event dungeon was ultimately changed, because it was designed so poorly.
Every time something like this happens, it feels as though, the game is seriously understaffed, or the staff is seriously incompetent at communicating. Both make players want to stop playing.

Also, for the player returning event, they could even distribute wrong prize to players…
1000 x 1k attribute points instead of 1k attribute points.

They hotfixed these after saw the thread (as below) but then intentionally HIDE the thread after hotfix :slight_smile:

Let’s hope the sequence of rewards for the guess to impress event is correct :wink:

Don’t wanna admit the mistake or just don’t give bad reputation to new players???
This is not first time IMC done such silly mistake…totally pissed off with such attitude toward players.

ikr…and every time somethin goes wrong again, all those why’s goin through my head like…why dont you just say somethin for gods sake. its seriously worse tryin to hide it, makes everyone confused and angry, and then also people makin assumptions like: are they understaffed (what i also think is the case actually), which then makes it even worse again. its frustrating watchin imc diggin its own grave…on the western servers that is.

I believe they are required by Korean law to list down the actual rates of whatever the players will be spending real money on.

are they? didn’t know that; so why not list the rates for the event loot? for more consistency? nothing too specific, even just a general outline like: material drops 30%, event costume boxes 1%, 60% fish, 9% special mats. Also, I’m not saying this is always better choice, I just want to know why so many details of the fishing event was hidden from the players actually doing the event.
If I knew the rates, for sure, I would’ve invested my time and silver differently. but since we don’t know everyone, rich and poor, were compelled to sink their silver on the best options and go for the full 10 rounds everyday for 2+hrs.
