Guys i’ve met more than a few EU players on this beta and we all have ping issues. Yesterday (sunday 1.11.2015) ping was 500-800 for me and about the same for my friends and random people i’ve met on the way. The ping is a huge problem when we cant event make a party because of it. You’re making a server for Latin American player, what about EU players? We need just one server like in germany or uk.
I’m also in EU and got about 100-150 ms ping… no problems playing here for the most time, except when the servers is overwhelmed with people, yeah, then its laggy.
So… I dont see a problem here.
yeah its nice when you get 150 ping but its rare when you come back from work and try to play in the evening.
As a player from Germany. I have never encountered huge ping/lag problems at all. But i also would appreciate a German Server.
yes, an EU server for the launch is quite necessary.
Having so much lag, it’s quite hard to have decent fights when all my skills have delays to cast. Also it’s hard to doge the boss skills and I don’t even wanna try duel…
A german server will most likely nerver happen. And in my opinion there is no need for an EU server during beta. I’m playing from EU myself and I don’t have any problems. But I hope there will be an EU server upon release.

I agree, I don’t even have a key to play in the close beta right now but can sympathize with the people who have to play overseas?

It’s the simple fact that I’m from South Africa and have had to connect to servers all around the world for a really long time already. I have resigned myself to this fate, yet I don’t blame anyone,
So please at least help make it a bit less harsh by opening an EU server,
(In case it wasn’t clear, yes the US ping is much higher than the EU ping, I’d rather take the lower one thanks.)

Dude its not the fact that the servers are in the US which is causing the lag… Its the amount of players. No Internet speed of light. Period. Just wait till IMC opens the Latin American Server - the players will spread out.
How do you even check your ping in-game?
An EU server on official release is always good for EU players, we are far from US and distance to server increases lag, that is what all ppl believe with the exception of buddhist. Lag is acceptable to me in PvE but PvP is a totally different case.
To check ping in game open chat and use command //ping i think.

You can’t without a Beta Key, and the sign-up for Beta Keys ended long ago. The current Beta ends in 5 days.
