Most EU Servers are located at Frankfurt in Germany, maybe you could place one there too.

Dunno about the good location for better ping but I can play without any problem on Terra EU and Vindictus EU, hope it help

As Spain is one of the peripheric countries in Europe (the most western country in europe along with Purtugal) I have made a set of tests on how far it would be “ok to play” to us depending on the location of the server:
PING
Paris (France) = 37ms
Roma (Italy)= 75 ms
Berlin (Germany)= 139 ms
Frankfurt (Germany)= 52 ms
Viena (Austria)= 56 ms
Budapest (Hungary)= 65 ms
In my opinion, thinking about the common good of all european countries, because it is one of the most centered country in Europe an also i get better ping (being in the periphery) i think Viena could be a good option.

Russian have line to Europe through Kaliningrad. If server will be in Germany, this is the best offer

In my opinion, the best places for EU servers would be Luxembourg (as Dota2 has), or Frankfurt due to centrality and infrastructure.
@Staff_Julie: If you do implement an EU server later, will it be possible to transfer to them if we want to start playing the international servers during headstart?

I remember I was playing Drakensang Online and my ping was good enough. Their server located in Germany.
I live in Dubai, so I believe Germany would be great for me.
