Here are some reasons why you should deploy a server in Australia,

Good connection for New Zealand and Australia and surounding regions and Asia
Sydney has good infrastructure for data centers
Would Eliminate the people winging about SEA servers
Boost Steam sales (massively)
My friends can play and my guild can enjoy the game and not wait for 2-3 seconds for a spell to cast
Other Games like World of Warcraft (All Blizzard Games), league of legends, path of exile, Vindictus… any many others have game servers here.

And many more, seriously this is a good investment, why not make the move now !

I think the best Location for a Europe Server is Frankfurt.
This is a big backbone Location from the Internet.

Frankfurt or Amsterdam would both make great server locations.

Yup, as many have mentioned. The best Server for a European Server, would be the one situated in Frankfurt, Germany. It’s located pretty much in the center of Europe.
I myself play from Berlin, Germany.

Problem with Ireland is that it’s not central at all, and while the ping is much better than the one from East Coast NA, it’s still above 100 for Eastern Europe and Russia (at least that’s what I got when I tested).
A central EU location would be preferred.

I’m from the UK and Germany usually has pretty nice servers for EU players in general.
