EU Fedimian economy is dead

I think it’s about time this game stops pretending that we are playing in Korea with a couple of thousands of active players. We aren’t.

There are currently level 7 gems selling for 4 million silver, that have been sitting on the AH for the past 7 days, full potential Velcoffer Shields for 110 million - a price tag, which barely covers the re-roll costs of Velcoffer Cubes, full potential Asio Pistol for 45 million. Sierra powder isn’t selling, neither are Blessed Shards and Blessed Gems. Forget about Ignas recipes, you are lucky to find one raid per day.

We just don’t have enough players playing this game in EU to support the ludicrous prices of some of the items. Practonium finally dropped, but mostly because no one is using it, Magic Stones are sitting at about 25 million, not because they are worth that much, but because the game was designed to have thousands of people doing the Ireddian Shelter bosses and we have what, maybe a hundred? The issue isn’t even the number of players, but the lack of newbies, who could supply or buy the items. All we got left are seasoned players who know exactly what they want and because of that, the market is stagnating completely.

The ichoring system is a complete joke. If enough players were playing this game, especially casual players, the supply would meet the demand, but as it is, the prices are sitting at 50 million and above for a single recipe.

If you want this game to survive, you either have to adjust the rates/prices of some of the items, or start injecting/buying items from the AH to support the remaining player base. I had to run Library over 50 times to get one Nepa Bracelet, because literally no one would sell one.

It’s pissing me off, because the geared people in my guild are dropping 200-300€ on Gacha cubes every second week, then selling the costumes, because this game has turned into a massive role-playing circle jerk and I simply refuse to pay rent-amounts of money just to stay competitive.

Don’t worry, it will become even worse with new equip potential being even lower than before.

It’s not that the economy is dead, the market is just saturated and people are being unreasonable with their prices on e.g. Magic Stones or Ignas Recipes.

There is a steady demand on a few things, but the majority of things one can buy/sell only have limited use at best, which makes it very gruesome to play on a server with a low population that simply cannot meet the required influx.

On the other hand, because Fedimian lacks competition, it’s easier to get legendary cards and Boruta items, since the number of people who are rewarded for bossing is limited in number.

I agree on the raid drops, though, and IMC at least reduced the amount of fragments required to trade for a random item/recipe and the entry costs for most raids with the upcoming Episode 11 update.
If we could have further improvements, e.g. by introducing an RNG that takes into account the number of people playing per server, is another thing, though.

It would be great, though, running Ignas hundreds of times for worthless Leather recipes make the content a bummer compared to other raids that can at least yield Sierra Powder which can be used to extract ichors or reroll random stats on primus.

Game is indeed designed for 1000 players, and therefore suffers from the “TMJ” (Too Much Junk) syndrome. Which can’t work well without the “numbers” of a steady playerbase.

Level 7 gems won’t sell because you can get level 4-6 gems from the Gem seller for nothing then enhance them to 7 with the zillion trash items you get from everything you do in the game and are completely useless 100% of the time. A nice full pot Velcoffer Shield for 110 million is probably a nice bargain, but 99% of casual people that play the game will never have 110 million ready at hand. Most of RPGs suffer the same problem: you never have the money to buy the “good” stuff unless you invest all your savings, and everything else you could afford is utter trash.

When you see the leader of the biggest guild actually shout for Magic Stones you know something is wrong in the game. Top players should shout for selling, not buying. Another flawed implementation: crucial mats should be available in the right quantity, which depends on the number of players. No idea what’s the drop rate of Magic Stone is, but still got none from Irredian Shelter cubes (just shards and some trash “Ceviche” bracelets…). I can’t imagine people having to collect 7 just to improve the Boruta Seal from +1 to +2 (currently, you simply go for the 50% chance and waste your seals because they are more common than the stupid stones… that’s ridiculous).

I probably ran Library more than 100 times and apart from a pair of Sausis boots all I got was Sierra Powder. I can’t imagine people that start the game and see they will never be able to craft some of the endgame accessories because they have prerequisites that are not obtainable in game anymore. You want a Draconas Lynnki Sit Necklace? So where do you get the required Max Petamion if you didn’t play the game two years ago when you could actually get the recipe and craft it? The market? They’re not there anymore…

I checked the market recently, yes you can buy all the costumes you want for 2-3 millions. This game has become “Dress My Waifu”…

Another issue is the High Transcendence items. I’m selling a +11 T10 Velc Rapier with 3x lv 8 gems and most of the potential left. Because we are not allowed to trade transcendend items 1:1, I am left with no options when it come to reselling the item, because no one has the amount of silver that the weapon is worth. A guildmate of mine had to sell his +16 rapier with ichor for 400 mill, because no one could afford to buy it, even if they could easily trade something else for it. EU market is completely stale. It took me 3 days to sell 15 blessed gems and mine had the lowest price.

They have made the first step by giving the player a recipe after doing the raid 50 times to counter the “RNG vs amount of players” problem. However this is still not enough. Having to do a raid 50 times just to get yet another useless piece of random trash won’t work. You SHOULD be able to choose what you want from the raids, in the same way you can choose your reward when doing ET or Velcoffer. I can’t imagine someone after ep 11 patch trying to get three identical recipes (Asio, Wastrel, Ignas), get all the mats to craft them then use them for ichoring without spending an eternity relying on the RNG without using the market to fill the holes.

I’ve put a nice level 380 Berthas weapon with three almost maxed green stats in the market three times in a row, thinking someone would have a use for it (ichoring or simply leveling up), never been able to sell it. And last price was like 200-300k… Ended up dismantling it for like 10 Nucle Powder. Go figure…

It’s not just a matter of the market being dead, the problem lies in the players as well.
When one tells you that wants to sell a Demon Lord Blut Card for 500m you know that something is not working.
Every player is trying to “find the whale” who’ll give you the money you want. But reality is: whales already have everything at this point and won’t spend that much money for an alt.

As it has been already said, they have to change the droprate of items and mats. This is the only way for our low populated server to survive.

Last banned gold seller on Fedimian 6 weeks ago, 25th of February. It’s too dead even for the Gold sellers to attempt anything right now

Fedi so dead but i dont wanna merge with any of the other shithole servers. You cant win with this game
