Equipment switching for skill lvl question

What happens if you use a weapon with skill lvl+ then switch to another?
Example: Equip Durandal>Restrain>Switch weapon

Does the buff disappear or go downgrade?

If you use buff before switching weapon then your buff is still counted as +level. No disappear, no downgrade.

Thanks!!! I’m guessing it also applies to gems, so its better to put buff gems on other equipments than the main one in order to save gemslot for other gems?

I think so. However, just add gem into the equipment that you can use for a long time (maybe after lv280).

Actualy it does downgrade ( For exemple Running shot with Grand Cross)
If you switch bow you will loose the 2 lv worth of bonus damage. 280%>200%
But it won’t effect the duration of the skill and probably thing like caltrop trap number in this case but it will affect their damage ( I think, never tested for something that already trow)

just did the test, and it does not, at least not with finestra, will edit this topic with SS soon enough,just wait.
edit:done as bonus, you all can laugh in my silly effort to hide the addons, :).

as you all can see, my critical rate is still 169 when using lydeka(+finestra) but once i buff myself with zaga spear and change back to lydeka it still keep the value of 189…

Thanks for this! But im still not sure… because finestra adds directly to stats and Grand Crass bonus damage does not add to stats

I think that the bonus damage amplifier reduces to 200% because it applies after hitting

Can someone please comfirm this with Running shot damage? :))

for quarrel shooter it work the same. using grand cross and applying the buff before switching, it will count as lvl 7 instead of 5.
