Enhancing pistol increase SR skill damage?

Guys help me gear my SR. I heard enhancing pistol increase SR skill damages, is that true?
Which physical attack increase it, main patk or secondary patk or both?
SR masters out there pls help :bow:

All your SR skills scale with secondary physical attack. Enhancing your xbow will still reduce the missile penalty like for any other archer though. Also, C attacks scale off primary physical attack, so if you like to spam limacon, keep it up too

I just read after +5 on xbow, it doesn’t mitigate missile penalty any further, does that mean enhancing more on xbow after +5 doesn’t increase SR skills damage?

yes you need only +5 on xbow for remove missile penalty. You also can use red-gem blue-gem weapon effect on xbow for sr skill.

if you read with a little more patient U will understand. don’t improve damage but remove missile penalty. If you want more damage with SR skills improve a xbow to +5 and focus on offhand. See yay.

Increasing Physical Attack (a.k.a. Physical Attack of your Main Weapon: Crossbow) DOES increases SR skills damage.

Proof: Get a +5 crossbow - test damage - transcend it + Lv.15 weapon maintenance = damage is higher.

Better scaling seems to come from sub weapon tho but I still have no data to test properly different values on same anvil enhancement range.

i have to test this one again though, as i have done test before doing Retreat shot with Xbow and without Xbow, the result was still the same (10k+ something)

That’s weird. I tested an enhanced xbow at +5, +6 and +7 and the damage was always the same. I have a video of it somewhere. Maybe it was tweaked with rank 8? Or maybe it’s only for transcendence

I got quite a bit of damage increase going from 800 ish atk on my crossbow to 1400-1500, I still have my old crossbow, I’ll make a detailed comparsion later (finishing halloween runs atm) D:

My bad, I was wrong, sorry. Here’s some info:

Uh, after testing here’s my error.

Using new crossbow:

  • Glass mole:

Using old crossbow:

  • Glass mole:

Sorry for misunderstanding the results from when I checked the damage, was my bad considering the changes without looking at all variables and saying it as truth :<

Glass Mole scaling comes from Physical Attack then gets added to Secondary, that’s why increasing my crossbow damage made me hit so much more on Retreat Shot and I always use my main SR skills on Glass Mole effect.

Here’s more data:
Old Crossbow: 15-16k crits under glass mole effect.
New Crossbow: 18-20k crits under glass mole effect.

The main weapon IS affecting the secondary physical attack ??? It is just to make sure. I never noticed this :fearful:

which means, the higher P.atk from Main weapon. with the help of Glassmole results in higher damage output for SR? ugghhh… that was something new for me

Only under glass mole effect.

@elzeraus this isn’t new tho. For me just affected when I tried to judge the damage increase because I didn’t pay attention :<

Tested it just now… it seems the higher P.atk from main weapon adds up to Sub weapon when using glassmole effect. not sure if this is intended. but this is really boosting Offhand users such as SR and Hacka damage by tremendous amount.

I see. That’s good idea.
under glass mole effect base atk from main weapon(total mole card10 %) will transfer to off hand. maybe IMC did not notice yet aka it’s another bug lol. that why enhancementtrans of mainhand work for offhand under gm card effect.

but meh another waste of money. upgrade 8 gm card just for 6sec. now upgrade main weapon just for 6 sec too. also still need to upgrade off hand because it’s work uptime w/o gm card.

I think it will be better if you send this ticket to IMC if you don’t wanna waste your money to upgrade 2 weapon everytime you change weapon in the future.
