It’s ok if you disagree but just to clarify it as I said they can have their advantage… I just don’t want them to be ridiculously stronger…“godlike” x)
What i disagreed with was the “it’s almost the same as pay to win”
well if you can grind to get it, then i see no problem with it. Rng is rng, the lottery wouldn’t get so large if people didn’t try to win it. People are perfectly fine with that system.
I do think the stats in shop is kind of dumb, but if i like the game enough i will probably buy it >_>
Well if it would be too overpowered it could turn out to be but as I said I dunno rly how it is actually in the game so we will see. If it is well balanced than there is nothing wrong with it…
It would be the “have time to win” X) version btw.
Actually. Enhancing an level 1 or 15 weapon, makes it better then most 40 weapons.
Moneywise and from the bonus stats, for many choices. Except really good level 40ers.
I went nuts with an magi staff +13 that i got with only 2 fails.
That dps increase was nice till i found a better weapon at around 75+ for my mage then.
IMHO +7 or +9 should be max but with really low success rate, like 1-3 85%,70%,65% and an item won’t be destroyed, 4-6 55%, 45%, 35% and an item may be destroyed, 7-9 25%,15%, 5% and an item will always be destroyed at fail. +40 sounds like an another web-browser crap.
lol
numbers are arbitrary. If it were a 1-9 system you would be complaining about people running around with +6s and +7s.
I propose we make the cap over +90000 with a 80% chance to succeed for every level after 100. Bonuses per level would be +0.001 ~ +0.005 damage. Good luck getting to +90000.
Just a PSA, you are arguing with someone who hasn’t played any cbt or ktos. Take it with a grain of salt.
It ok already as it is. U need alot of silver to upgrade it anyway, while u can use it on attribute. Note upgrade cost increase with star eq. +40 low lvl still cant outdmg +10 high lvl, which may cost alot lower. U also cant give/trade ur overupgrade eq later. So, loss>benefit.
In cbt, people overupgrading it maybe due to testing purpose or not many high lvl available at that time.
Sharpening the iron sword to become laser sword with Jedi’ power, Yoda always stay by your side = =
I don’t know why you’re trying to debate my opinion but I’ll just say that:
Pretty much supports what I just said about 40 enhancement levels being unnecessary. If it’s unlikely most players will ever have the funds or luck of the Irish necessary to +40 even a single piece of equipment, then why bother having it?
Anyway, that’s just how I feel about it. I’m not personally complaining so don’t bother answering the above question as I’m sure I won’t agree or care about the reasoning behind it.
silver sink for those special snowflakes that have all them attributes maxed. They might as well make enchantments unbound - with linear increase per upgrade and exponential cost it doesnt really matter what the highest “+” a weapon can have.
I vote we just don’t implement Magic Scrolls in shop, or crazy +40 enchants.
15 is fine. Increase it as levels go up and at level 600 make it 40 again.
why overcomplicate system? If you +40 lvl 15 weapon - props to you, who cares?
I don’t think you understand how this system works lol.
I mean like keep increasing the enchant tiers as the game goes on.
Start at +15 being max.
Patch rolls out with rank 8.
Make it +20 max.
Patch rolls out with rank 9.
Make it +25 max.
etc.
I do understand how it could possibly work, but what would that achieve? Is it worth change system every now and then for nothing? There is no point in doing that.
Why did you quote yourself?
Seriously, read the thread. People don’t want an insane +40 enchant in this game. It makes no sense. I personally couldn’t care less, I’m only suggesting an idea.
Calm down dude.
increase repair cost to enchant item

[/quote]those people probably haven’t got a chance to playtest the game during iCBT so they compare this game’s +40 to the equivalent of +40 (if that would be possible) in any generic MMORPG they have played before. It makes them feel intimidated by big numbers.
Well all I know is that I can only solo this game in JP server.
I just hope they keep this game solo friendly even at high levels.
At least in Japan servers, all the MMOs are run by the 2ch people who harass players who don’t have max gears and demand they quit.
