Did you locked your weapon using the Lock function? If yes then use it again to unlock, enhance the weapon then lock it again in case you want to protect it from an accidental NPC selling.
@Nirimetus I think it is not the same between these 2 types of locks,

You should unnequip the weapon and refine it through your inventory instead.
Could you screenshot your weapon’s stats?
That’s average, I was expecting it to have low potential or whatever.
Anyway, have you tried unequipping the item and upgrading it from your inventory instead?
Yes, I tried it before but it still be the same.
Also when anvil disappeared, the lock icon disappeared too
What anvil were you using? The standard one? The one you get from the miners village quest? The golden one?

That’s odd…is it still happening? Does this issue happen to this weapon specifically?
I’m uncertain and I can’t log in to verify that, but normally when the lock appears it’s normally when the refine window pops up…Are you using add-ons? I think you should try running the game raw if so…possibly one of your add-ons is the cause.
Not sure if this can help:
- Go in the game temp folder (Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\tempfiles) and delete the content of it, leave the folder alone, just delete what is inside.
