Emengard VS Masinios VS Primus Raffye Shield

Hi guys, so I was wondering: What Shield is the BiS right now?

Emengard has less p.def since it’s 315 item but it gives +7% final block rate. Does anyone know how this works(it’s like sneak hit a % apart from the normal crit rate or it’s calculated from your normal block rate)? Also Emengard have more CON and gives you extra +1 movspeed that you can’t find on other shields.

Masinios will benefy more builds that use SPR. I don’t know what is this “Strike-type” option and how it’s calculated. Masinios only have +2% final block rate that’s a lot less than emengard.
Also this shield has 2 options that sound like the same: Block rate 2 and Final block rate +2%, don’t know if it’s a typo.

Primus Raffye can be good because you can look at the options you need the most, but you will need a lot of luck to get these rolls. Also, like masinios it have 3 socket slots so you can have more block or p-atk for physical damage builds.

Emengard is still fantastic since it has +1 movespeed and all the stats you want in a shield. It would be hard to find a Primus Raffye that is better.

It would take an excellent roll on Primus Raffye to have me consider switching.

I wish the unidentified equips could roll AoE attack and movement speed. At least on some parts. I’m legitimately still unsure about replacing my Manamana just because it gives movement speed, AoE attack, crit rate, and a still-relevant amount of property damage, and I can’t even roll half of those stats on a Raffye pistole. (If Corsair had any use for pistol attack other than Pistol Shot it might be different)

anybody realize they change the appearance of solmiki shield? the old one is V-shaped

The image and actual item have been inconsistent since the release of solmiki (you’ll notice it if you had that april fools solmiki event item). They only changed the item image to match the actual shield model.

I wish emegard would get 3 sockets too.
Its way better for melee cls…

So i have to hope for a good roll on the Raffye shield ^^
