Elite/TP Monsters - what do they have of special?

After googling a little I couldn’t find any conclusive answer to this.

Besides usually (not always) having higher HP/giving more EXP, what makes Elite Monsters special? (The ones that show a TP icon next to their HP bars)

Do they have some sort of correlation with TP gain? Is there a mechanic involving only them that I’m not aware of?

That tp icon is a bug .
Elite monster are there to create a better risk/reward relation when u are hunting in a map. Some times they gives better exp or itens, and some times they are there just to make things a bit more difficult.

@STAFF_Yuri, that tp icon on elite monster is an old bug.
