Is it worth putting 1 point in prominence & frost sphere?
Or are the points better funnelled to meteor? Please advise!

as long as u max frost cloud it doesnt matter what u do

Assuming 1 point in freezing sphere, do you even bother adding attributes?
You can put even more points in freezing sphere if yuo dont plan to PvP that often. 10/10 meteor is a dps loss in most cases, leave it at 5. You can also live with 10/15 electrocute since it’s completely useless against bosses. Either way always get at least 1 point freezing & prominence and dump at least 20 attributes in both.
I have 1 point in each, Prominence and Freezing Sphere.
I use Prominence : because i’m moving a lot and use prominence+jump to cancel animation. It can burn enemies and do ok damage when you are doing something else (casting other spell, running/jumping, attacking). You can ‘mobtrain’ and Prominence, it will proc behind you and hit monsters, or use it near certain boss when they are static.
I never use freezing sphere : I feel like i got more dps with normal attacks on a single target. Freezing Sphere is a little aoe though, but i never find the use of it. I will remove it later with reset skill i think.
I guess it depends on playstyle.
