Just wondering about the compatibility of the “shield&bow” skills on later class changes for the archer tree. Here is the build i’m thinking about.

can you please explain, i’m confused what skills are gone while mounted as Schwarze & what skills are no work from rogue circle 1 ,_,

Rogue can use shields. But Schwarze Reiter won’t be able to use some of your Archer and Quarrel Shooter skills. Just refer to the “required stance” for each skill. If it doesn’t say anything, then probably any weapon of that class can use it. If it says otherwise. Then anything other than that can’t use the skill.

but the skill simulator doesn’t say that stuff ,_,

it says either 2h bow or bow&shield xD
can som1 please explain which skills wont work in my build ?_?
would swift step work with Schwarze? Thank you for any help

Since SR uses guns, then any skill that requires a stance of 2h bow or bow and shield, he won’t be able to use. So yes, he can use swift step but he won’t be able to use pretty much every other archer skill.

bleh, guess i’l just make mistakes & screw up character with no free reset when i play after beta ~_~

does any1 know the level-up stats for “Deploy Pavise” & “Scatter Caltrop”?

the skill simulator only shows “?” for both of these & others too

  1. You’ll only be able to use bow and shield skills if you quick swap your weapon, there’s a hotkey for that.

  2. Just use the skills that you want. I haven’t played the game to be able to really correct any build. Plus I think SR Archer builds are crappy cause of all the stances.

  3. As I said, haven’t played the game yet so Idk.

man that’s really unfair, a rank 6 weapon change that renders most skills unusable T_T

Yup. I had 3 SR builds that I had to scrap because of the stance changes.

Im still trying to figure how to make an SR

Edit: Maybe Archer 1 -> Ranger C3 -> Fletcher 1 -> Schwarze Reiter 1?

I thought you can’t use bow skills with SR’s guns? Unless you’re gonna be weapon switching?

Yep i have no prob in switching im used in games, my main problem its about the thing of getting off of the mount
