Earth Tower 7F Bug - Only Endgame is bugged

Currently the only end game PVE content available in the game is broken and near impossible to complete due to a bug. After reaching 7F Earth Tower you are supposed to protect a crystal in the center of the room as well as follow a glowing orb around the map as it moves counter-clockwise. As a group we’ve encountered two issues that appear to be bugs when comparing videos with 7F ktos clears.

Problem #1 - Energy generation seems to be a mystery.

Killing monsters does not generate more energy such as in 1F/6F
Players staying alive does not create energy such as in 4F
Players standing near the orb does not seem to create more energy, although I believe it is supposed to.
Energy seems to be completely random.

Problem #2 - The orb that circles the room randomly disappears or dies.

We have not been able to tell whether the orb has HP and can be hit and if so, does it only take 1 hit.
The orb has randomly disappeared with no enemy near it (no ranged mob even spawned)

I honestly don’t know why I’m even bothering to write up this post when you’ve already fixed it in ktos. I don’t know why I just spent a couple hours of my life trying to figure out a way to make up for your inability to code a game properly. EVEN WHEN YOU DO FIX IT, you can’t seem to have any parity when it comes to versions of the game. At some point I have to question if you are actively sabotaging your own game, because the amount of excuses for this incompetence are quickly drying up. Blaming everything on RMTers and thinking up new half-baked solutions to problems that create even more problems that you further use as an excuse to not fix huge glaring issues.

You’ve already fixed some huge issues, do yourself a favor and actually port them. Your engineers can’t be that incompetent that porting changes is causing so much trepidation. Yes you may cause new issues, but if you continue to twiddle your thumbs you wont have a player base left to worry about.

That is not the first and not the last thread about this issue. Slowly players start reaching 7F and get frustrated as they can’t progress because of the bug, that was fixed in other version (KR), but for some reason is still not fixed for us. Even if ET 6F+ is seen as a low priority at the moment because of the amount of people attempting 6F+ and all resources being spent on preventing RMT and fixing overall game performance / stability, I don’t believe that it requires much time and resource investment to fix it, as there is already a working fix implemented in KR version of the game. So please, look into it and make a move, before people will start giving up on attempting the only endgame available at the moment (considering we still don’t have PvP part implemented), that is bugged and frustrating, and will start to slowly leave the game.

As much as I enjoy the challenge 7/F currently presents (possibly protect a thing that potentially has 1 HP that moves around the field quickly from legions of melee/archer mobs, as was told to me from KR players before they received a fix a month ago), I’m much more interested in advancing forward.

It’s clear that this floor is easily doable when you don’t have to worry about the dark portal being destroyed (which under normal circumstances, you don’t have worry about this). I talked it over and the energy gathering mechanic is indeed just hugging the dark portal.

The eighth and ninth floors are jokes. The tenth floor is where the next challenge lies. And I’d love to progress beyond to see the limitations of where my build currently keeps me.

Please, IMC. Bug fixes of something that’s already been fixed in another version of something would be great. Especially when it’s some of the only content we have at late game stages, little as it is.

This problem needs more attention.
ET and world bossing are pretty much the only two end games atm.
Having this bug persist is unacceptable. Why hasn’t it been fixed yet?

There is really no need to say any more. This isn’t complicated to fix unlike pvp balancing, botting, or server performance. If this isnt fixed by the middle of July I will have to personally bump this thread twice a day.

Edit - also please reconsider pricing the weapons at 140+ boss essence. A single 1F-20F run takes like 2 hrs and having to do 37 runs (74 hrs + all rerolls w/o failing) is a bit too much for gear that can become obscured by a lv 400 white weapon.

Had to skip ET last week due to silence statue being bugged, and this week 7F still remains bugged. People are quickly beginning to question why they are bothering to play this game when IMC can’t even bother responding about their broken endgame.

Is ET 7f still bugged or has it been fixed since this patch?

The 7th floor has been fixed. It is noticeably easier now. The 12th floor has been made tremendously more difficult as well by the update. It is the new “hardest” floor.
