Hello, a friend and I are coming back to play, I’m kind of lost with the changes they had in the classes (we stopped playing at the time of the 8th ranking release). I would like help with possible builds for PVE.
My friend will play SR / BM which builds could complement the group?

Thaum, Necro, and Chrono comes to mind. What would you like to do with your build? Support? Damage?
Unless you can afford the new support mage, pocket heals are the way to go. Also, don’t forget to farm for the event weapons. You have until Feb 20.

Maybe look into different Cleric classes or a Thaum/Chrono build. If you like summons, Necromancer increases Missile damage by a lot.
Corsair can increase Missile damage a bit too and pillage, but they’re questionable. Pelt can group up monsters for your friend’s Retreat Shot. I’m not really sure which is the best.
Thaum can increase both your damage so it could work as a support and damager. You could take the rank 7 or 8 classes to have damage.
Chrono can Haste, Quicken which can increase crit rate, and Pass.
Almost any Cleric build could help since you can heal.
