Dungeons / missions need to change drastically, or content as result

Short version:strong text

game lacks 130-200 content, tries to fill it in with boring as hell dungeons that takes ages for zero rewards that take forever to do. which result in me and my friends having a hard time to boot up the game as we first have to push ourself through 5 hours of this torture.

And don’t think about not doing it, because it’s your only way of exp income.

Long version

0-99:

Dungeons can be done, doesn’t ahve to be done. The 2 dungeons i could do without a token was fun to get a chance on a arde dagger other hten that it gave some exp but not realy needed to progress, as there are lots of quests / maps and experience cards to gain

100-130:

You get missions here so 2x dungeons 2x missions. Instead of the choice of having to do them, you pretty much are locked into it as something you need to do, because the content just isn’t there. Really low amounts of maps + quests and therefore cards.

130-186:

I bought a token, because quests and cards distrubution on these maps are terrible, you hardly get any. so 30% for monster experience and that 1 more dungeon and mission is pretty much a must have to get.

The map amounts are absolutely dreadful at this level zone, and such little quests on them on top of it. It makes it a grind fest mainly with heavily camped spots by people that makes it a battle on who gets the kills. EXP is dreadful and totally not worth my time to grind on those locations.

So basically what you will be doing, is do your “dialy’s” and that’s exactly what i struggle with and makes it feel like a wall you first have to pass before you can do something else.

To give you a example:

162:

Dungeons:

I sign up for 3x 145 dungeon ( as 160 dungeon is terrible ), average wait time of 25 minutes each dungeon. That’s 1 to 1,5 hour on average, just waiting for the dungoen to even load. ( you can’t do anything else in the waiting process as it locks your char in place )

Then with a good group its 30 minutes minimum, and 1 hour with a bad group

So at it’s average its 45m each dungeon, that’s another 2 hours and 15 minutes added with that. Which makes it 3 hours and 45 minutes. Just of doing these dungeons which basically gives you 80% of your level.

Missions:

3x missions can be done: Each wait time has about 15 minutes on average which equals to 45 minutes wait time.

The dungeon takes about 20-30 minutes each, so that’s another 1,5 hour, that’s together about 2-2,5 hours.

That makes it around 5 hours to just do those daily.

As there is a lack of maps / cards you get and quests on those level area’s it’s pretty much the only thing you do. And it’s a borefest. Always the same thing, always the same waiting time and always a gamble on how your group functions ( no healer / tank ) etc etc.

It gets old fast. It’s like at this level range the only way to level is, do the same boring 2 maps all over again every single day for 5 hours long and got not much exp out of it as result.

It basically makes me not want to boot up the game anymore. Because if i skip them and not do them, i will simple go nowhere. Farming in bee place with a group is also extremely boring after a hour and the exp is just terrible in my opinion.

In dungeons in search party what they would do:
Try to match you with a cleric, if your pt haven’t a cleric, your pt receive a hp buff like roxona qhen you breake a red cristal.

If they do that, 50% of my problems will be fixed because every dungeon I waste 50k in potions.

I agree.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t mind the grind. I’m actually 198 now just saving my exp cards on the side. But user-wise, the pace pre-130 is just so different when you hit that level.

The quests are shorter, less maps to explore and the monsters are quite challenging to grind up either due to spawn, mv. speed, or tankiness.

Maybe pre-130 should be tweaked so that the experience doesn’t flop. Only reason why I’m patient enough to grind through it is because I’m really an RPG player and I’m OC.

Just thinking about other types of gamers out there.

ToS grind mechanism is interesting because of Adventure Journal and Vibora, questing isn’t boring either, the resets are ingenious, it’s just the pace.

I think missions “search for a party” queue should be a random mission map and cross servers.

Exp you can get from missions are straight out bull. I have a 245 musket now and I’ve never done them since I was around 140.

now make an alt and spend 10 hours

I’ve got a rank 7 and several rank 6 characters and have barely done dungeons or missions for exp on any of them. Most of my dungeon runs are boss rushes.

I only do one dungeon or one mission per day. Enough for me. Then I quest another 30 minutes and then call it a day. Seems to work quite well for me, I’m still always overleveled for the maps I reach.

Just because you can 3 mission and 3 dungeons and 5 dailies and 5 party quests per day doesn’t mean you have to. Just do whatever is fun for you.
