Dungeon queue: Broken; Level scaling: 404; recommended player list: Flawed; General chance at dungeons: Hardly any

So as im writing this i have been in queue to mission for 24 minutes, some people reportedly went up to 45 minutes.
I have absolutely no idea how the current queue system works, but its safe to say that its broken to hell and back.
I would say that we need a level scaling system that lets higher level players join up in lower level dungeons with stats akin to their reduced level, but that has its own issues. All i can say that the current queue is broken. It takes insane amounts of time to work and even then it creates useless parties with 5 dps, no tank, no healer, no nothing.
Its simply broken and needs to be fixed.

Now here is something easier which can serve as a work around:
Recommended player list:

  • Needs search by level
  • Needs search by class
  • Optionally: Search by category (healer, dps, tank)

If we can search online players based on level and class, we can easily create a party our self instead of sitting for a hour at the queue doing nothing and cursing at imc.
Furthermore the current recommended player list is also broken.
Im constantly getting “recommended players” which are 100 frikin levels below or 50 levels above me. What aspect of a 100 level difference is “recommended” in your opinion guys?

TL;DR:

Add search by level and class to recommended player list.

Optionally (but strongly recommended) fix the damn queue system because its cancer alive.

btw…I’m a diev… and i get matched into a party with another diev quite often …so… my party haf 2 dievs … that’s pretty awesome but …srsly… ?

sometimes i even got 4 healers in my team(include me)…

While i constantly enjoy parties without a healer or tank.

its not even funny at this point.

My housemate and I tried the dungeon search.
He was on his wizard, and I was on my Cleric.

We got in. He got a team of 4 Swordsman and I got in a Team with 3 Cleric class.

I was like Lolz, the fk with the system

thorny vines forest dungeon, the location is nuoridin falls and said map has 2 channels. I have been in queue from around 20:05 to 20:50 without luck. I then proceeded to check the other channel and I swear, the sum of people standing at the pole in both channels was between 15-20.
I asked to reply in chat if they were in queue but nobody did, and when they are all standing on top of eachother is hard to count, but saying that there were 15 players standing there, is a safe assumption. Also I don’t think they were jsut standing there taking a piss.
So it seems that the current queue needs more than 15 players to make a group of 5.

Class-wise, there was me peltasta+hoplite, 2 monks and some wizards, plus others that I couldn’t really tell. We could assume that the queue system does count monks as healers or hoplites as tanks, but I have reports of friends who ended up in dungeon parties of 5 wizards or 5 clerics, so I doubt the issue is class balance here.

Edit: came here to rant and left the queue to check the other channel, when I went back half of those players went in, lucky me uh? :triumph:
