Dumpling ingredients [Investigation]

What map that spawn every few seconds?

Area of Ruins i’d say is the best one. (Dullahan)

So sick of people trying to convince everyone these drop rates are decent, they are rng, That means while you are getting 5 per hour, I am getting 3 per 6 hours, and no, I am not exaggerating. I currently have enough mats to make ONE HALF of ONE jumbo dumpling after playing the entire day yesterday, its broken as fk.

Same for me. Quested from 160 to 190 today and got 4 mats.

I believe one reason for low drop rates on field maps are BOTS, since these mats/foods are tradeable, they could stack a sh*t ton of 'em and save them for later. That’s why i recommend you to solo dungeons on your lvl range or plainly solo mercenary missions/Saalus/Uphill.
I agree with you though, that the drop rate on field maps is garbage.

That make sense now why the low drop rates, altough its a shame that once again thanks to bots the players are affected. now if we think about it future event that relies on drops from monsters on field gonna be the same trouble thus making these kind of events frustrating for players that cannot play more than 4 - 5 hours online.

they should have sticked to the same way with previous event, come to event notice board and get your stuff. untradeable with players but tradeable trough team storage.

or even better they should have to make the event like get the recipe for jumbo dumpling frm the notice board and kill certain monster family for the ingredients (like hunting season) craft your jumbo and wait for the next day, then make any field monsters to drop materials for the normal dumpling. that way you still get jumbo dumpling on fair way without too much trouble and people who just want normal dumplings can still get them.

I got no mats from 3 characters runs in daily missions, but I did get the jumbo dumpling recipe and a few mats while grinding with a party at Dina Bee. We all managed to get a few random food mats, but sadly not enough. I think we were grinding for ~2 hours.

I think I was lucky that I was in the level range for the bees.

got quite a few mats from running crystal mines and uphill defense

Its all the same story;
Player A can walk to his mailbox and get 7 materials
Player B can hitchhike from Connecticut to California and get 2 materials

Its by far the most useless/enraging event we have had. I want to stockpile jumbo dumplings for rank 8s increased level cap but I do no have an extra 6 hours a day just to farm the mats needed to make ONE dumpling, this is really upsetting, just forces more players to buy their xp tomes.

Got 30 mats from 5 hrs of Lv262 Storage Grinding, enough to craft 1 Jumbo so making 3 Jumbo should take around 10 hours of grinding?
This is what IMC meant by helping us to level for Rank 8. :joy:

I’ve done one run and finished about 35 minutes.

  • I got 8 mats total.
  • All portals (7 of them) stops spawning mobs :unamused:.
  • Doesn’t worth it but still a place to farm.

Any Corsair3 with JR15 out there mind testing if pillaging food mats from monsters is possible?

the latest Q&A had stated the max level difference for the drop is 20, however they didn’t mention the drop rate.

i guess, its to create hype so people would look forward to next week’s QnA~
pieces of info to be revealed every other week~
cliffhanger much

My experience so far, the drop rate of the material and recipes is higher for plant-type monster.
