Dumpling ingredients [Investigation]

And I thought only ingredients not recipes are dropped from monsters…

So, Bots rejoice???!!
And since its tradable/can also sold to market, get ready to stack tons of it and used only for rainy season (KToS xp patch)

Hurray more money for everyone, especially bots…

Dumplings and materials can be traded, Recipes can NOT.

To be honest: This looks very good for grinding in parties.

If you are considering more than 1 hour of grinding most likely every member will have a dumpling next within that time, so you could, if you had a few prepare before-handed, make 100% uptime of Dumplings on a set.

And dumplings disappear after event.

Fair enough then. Just play on Alt and transfer to main to stack a lot. Ok, actually i can just play on my little Cleric and there focus on event. Well this event is better than “log in and take reward” like usually we have. Now ww must “play the game” to get something. But we still don’t know about durration of sweets right? Did dumplings dissapear with end of event or not?
Propably not because made tradable would be pointless.

@Sciguma

I think only recipes and mats disappear according to the event, not sure though, have to confirm it.

3. Important

  • The duration timer for dumpling effects counts down even when you are logged off.
  • The daily limit on Jumbo Dumpling recipes resets every day at 00:00 EDT.
  • After the end of the event, all dumpling materials and recipes will be deleted from the game.
  • The effects of the Sweet Dumpling and Jumbo Dumpling count separately, so players can apply both simultaneously.

You seem to be right.

Finally got something.
Mats are also tradeable - seems to be another Game of Bots as the drop rates are really really low.

Wait what?
Screw bots and RMT, this is actually thing to gain some silver. Fedimian Market stuck with this all goodies because noone need buy petamions or Catacombs weapons.

@Sciguma

Didn’t know the mats were tradeable

some math:

The guy I power-leveled got 17640 kills on the map, I just don’t know if that was all mobs I killed or if he was somewhat soloing the Royal P-level alone.

He dropped:

6 sugar
7 sesame
6 chest nut
4 flour

Shitty odds.

Anyone could check if Uphill monster drops the materials/recipes? They are autoleveled to the party average.

If i understand this right you can only get 1 receipe per day?
I was hoping to make a bit money while trying to farm Battle bracelet…

The rates are really really low.
@sheeon1988 I got 3 recipes from the Event Board.

I will see how it works tonight but well now theres a reason to kill other monsters than galok

Only recipes and mats will be removed according to their website.
I think the monster needs to give you EXP for it to give you loot.

Breaking Nwes: You can get mats in Uphill Defense!

I just found a golden mob in demon district, it drop 2 sesame and 1 chessnut for me.

I forgot to take screenshot, since there was a hint on the screen (small chatbox like thing on top of the mob) tell me to kill it to get reward. And unlike normal drop, it have an loot drop animation from the mob instead of directly go to your inventory like quest item (I may be wrong, I don’t have much luck on normal mob drop, only once)

Creating new char doesn’t drop any ingredients.

Got one jumbo dumpling recipe from normal mobs. Sadly i don’t even have enough ingredients to make one…

I just made x4 Jumbo’s within about 2-3 hours. Was getting roughly 20 Mats per hour farming high density zones where mobs were above my level.

Mobs below my level rarely gave me any mats (If any). It does seem the drop rate is mildly low

For 280’s:
You can solo Saalus with enough DPS/gear. 1 hr farming mobs that spawn every few seconds. Faster than soloing Maven or Worshop/Solitary Cells/Investigation Room.
Soloing Uphill defense is another option if you don’t have a team for it. Make sure to grab Squire foods before going in. Drop rate looks fair enough.
