I just wanna confirm something, I was at Dina Bee Farm and I saw a barbarian using dumbbell, and subsequently used Seism and it killed all the mobs within the area.
is he hacking or thats the effect of the dumbbell?

Dumbbell have effect to buff str while minus max stamina. Max stack 10 str?
Don’t think it can increase aoe range unless those aoe relate to Str.
Hmm r u referring me, SpiritStar from laima server?lol a lot of passers by thought I was hacking…in fact that’s the effect of the dumbbell but it doesn’t really apply to all monster types. It’s effective towards light or small sized objects. As the name suggests 5kg dumb bell. And it adds 30 strength in total for 10mins and could be rebuffed anytime.
Hello tsuyucchi, not sure do u rmb me. I chat with u in game in kcbt on 26th before icbt2 launched, was asking which server u gonna go XD I’m at laima now and I whispered tsuyu but no response orz
I remember you. I was in Laima but move to Gabija now.
In addition to the +30 STR -20 Stamina at 10 stacks for the dumbbell, there is also another hidden mechanic.
While pumping the dumbell, you’ll see 1-3 monsters flash white on your screen. If you immediately attack any of those flashing mobs, that will damage all of the mobs 1:1. Only the first attack/skill applies.
Note: This is the case for melee classes. I had a friend test the same on a ranged class but it didn’t work although he got the flashing mobs.
In terms of practical use, there is hardly any as the pumping animation is incredibly long. Fun easter egg though.
TL;DR: Pump Dumbbell (3-4 second animation of pumping) > 1-3 mobs flash white > Attack any of the mobs > All mobs take damage 1:1 for the first hit > Effect ends.
to add on: can target up to 8~10 objects for max. dependent on monster types and map :)), might be interesting to test around in different maps.
