[Druid] Lycanthropy build

Hello All,

I’ve rejoin ToS this weekend and after making a new char ( I’m not really happy of it) I will try to switch as Druid. I request your help to tell me what do you think about this build. The goal is to DPS with Lycanthropy, as I’ve never play druid I don’t know if the build will works (I don’t even know which stats I need to improve my damages as a werewolf).

My build will be : Cleric/Druid/Chaplain/Krivis

https://tos.guru/itos/simulator?tinyurl=ybwfx5v3

Let me explain you why :

Druid : for the Lycanthropy of course
Chaplain : As I’ve understand Wolf form deal AA damages and use unique wolf spell. Chap is great to reinforce those AA.
Krivis : improve buff time, great crit buff/debuff ; INT/STR buff

Some additionals infos about the skill I’ve choose :

Druid :

Lycanthropy : Main reason of the build
Henge Stone : Need it if you plan to play with Lycan
Sterea Trofh : Great crit buff need it max (I guess)

Other Druid spell are my filler

Chortasmata : Heal AoE can be nice for friends
Carnivory : in addition to Chortasmata , additional AoE
Thorn : all my remain points mainly for the Aoe root

What do you think about it ? Should I put some points in Seed Bomb ?

Chaplain :

Last Rites : for Additional AA damages
Aspergillum : for AoE AA if i’ve understood corectly
Binatio : For AA speed (should I max it ?)
Deploy Cappella : For additional damages near the sacellum
Paraciltus Time : 1 point for the utility
Visible Talent : Not sure if it’s an OP buff or not, what’s your tough ?

Krivis:

Melstis : Improve duration of all other buff
Divine Stigma : huge INT/STR buff
Zalciai : huge Crit buff
Daino : Accuracy buff still welcome ( I guess)
Aukuras : leftover points

So, what can you tell me about this build ? Also will this be usefull at end game or it’s more like a fun/casual build to play with friends/guild ?

I’m waiting for your answers guys !

Ok, so there are several things you should know.

Lycanthropy comes in two flavors; full and Demi. Full Lycanhtropy is the big blue werewolf. It has 4 unique skills and locks you out of all your other skills for its duration (30s by default, 60s with maxed Wolf Spirit attribute). It also has a significant SP drain (3% of your Max SP per second while its active). It deals some pretty crazy damage because it uses BOTH your physical and magic attack but the upkeep cost is steep.

Demi-wolf, on the other hand, is a human hybrid that gives smaller damage buffs in exchange for letting you use all of your other skills while its active. It has a longer base duration (60s to start, 90s with the attribute) and replaces your auto-attack with a scratch that can inflict bleeds. In order to access Demi, you’ll need to get the attribute for Lycanthropy called Lycanthropy: Human Form. You can toggle it on and off so don’t think you’ll be stuck with one or the other.

As far as your build…

Druid:
Don’t sleep on Chortasmata. Even though you’ll be a primarily physical build, the DoT you’ll get from this is pretty significant (And the HoT will keep you from having to use Heal on yourself all the time). You’re going to want it maxed out. Seed Bomb is a non-starter. Even if you were a magic heavy build, I’d still recommend that you avoid it. It’s just not good enough right now to bother with.

Chaplain:
Including it at all means you’re going to want Demi since Full Lycanthropy’s attacks are skills.
Your main source of AA damage will come from Aspergillum. Last Rites is dependent on SPR, which you won’t have a lot of unless you get it from gear. IMO, it’s not worth but YMMV. Deploy Capella is historically terrible but I haven’t tested it in Re:Build so it might be worth investing in.

Krivis:
Kinda meh overall. You’d probably be better off with Inquisitor since it gives you more physical damage to supplement your AA. It also has Breaking Wheel and Ripper, both of which give you much more reliable AoE damage than you’ll get from Carnivory and keep you from having to stand near Chortasmata all the time. You’ll also have Malleus Maleficarum to increase your damage even more (Albeit on a relatively small number of targets)

Hey, thx for your feedback

I will focus on the human Lycan version as I want play AA build. With your feedback.
I’ve updated my build, it’s look like this : https://tos.guru/itos/simulator?tinyurl=y7emnjcx

I’ve put only point in Iron Maiden for God smash combo. Judgement & Ripper seems to be “must have”. I haven’t take GS at 15 because I feel that a lots of skill are important to take. Or maybe should I take GS 15 and reduce Breaking wheel / Malleus ?

Looks pretty good overall. I’d only tweak a few things.

Cleric:

  1. Fade is an interesting skill in that it’s a placate as opposed to stealth. I’ve never gotten much value out of it and would probably put that extra point in Smite instead but that’s my opinion. Other people seem to love it.

  2. Guardian Saint is good for those times when you’re the only Cleric on the team but Chortasmata’s HoT is potent enough to keep people topped off without it. Consider pulling some points out to max Smite (This would let you keep a point in Fade, if you want it).

Inquisitor:

  1. Iron Maiden is still bad, unfortunately. It only works on a single target and doesn’t affect bosses so you’re not likely to get much use out of it. I’d leave it at 0 points and put the one you have invested into something else.

  2. Breaking Wheel is your top choice for AoE damage. Max it and get the Breaking Wheel: Additional Damage attribute. I’d suggest taking some points out of Judgement to do this. Increasing the skill level only affects the duration of its debuff and you can get it up to 21s at level 6. The additional 4 seconds you’d have at max level aren’t nearly enough to justify the lack of points in Wheel.
