Hey all I’m a newbie in ToS. Apparently it’s all my fault because I don’t read stuffs and had no idea what gems do. Didn’t also know that gem would be dropped in boss instance when I die.
Currently a wiz3 -> ele1. Died in a boss and dropped all my gems. Should I remake my char? or just continue since gems can be farmable?
Are gems important in end game content?

IMO i wouldnt reroll because you lost your gems… im not anywhere near max level though.
You can always get new gems. They drop often enough in certain areas. Also I think you can buy equipment with gems in them if you have to and extract the gems.
in demon prison district 2 you could get a lot of level 2 yellow and green gems, might not be useful for your class but you can definitely use it for leveling the blue gems that you’ll get later, so don’t reroll. also you can use trash mats to upgrade your gem
There’s plenty of ways to get more gems. They sometimes drop in dungeons, and the daily party quests also usually give 3 gems as well.

What I want to know is how on earth did you reach rank 6 without even knowing this.
Is wizard really that easy mode of a class?
Wow one guy playing wizard doesn’t know something. Better make a whole generalization about a class.
Go make a wiz 3 like him and see how easy mode it is.
I KNEW about dropping gems because I read the in-game messages and whatnot, but I don’t think I tried until I was well into rank 5, and I was a weak little swordsman.
Reading about in-game features is completely irrelevant to how someone plays a class.
I don’t think he is rank 6 at level 90… more like rank 4

As what others have advised, no need to reroll. Gems are farmable.
Dont forget to stash your gems in the storage before going into dungeons.
Most low-level swordsmen learned this the hard way against that reaper in Tenet Chapel…
But don’t remake your char, gems are easy to get. Some mobs drop them semi-regularly.
I know the feeling, i just read the thread title in the list and was like…
u dropped your gems ? i DROPPED MY 5 STAR GEM ( kinda forgot i had it in my inventory got trolled by the game where i couldn’t do anything as it’s not registering ) keep playing u will get it back anyway.

How on earth did you post on the forums without knowing how to count to 4?
once you get level 100+ you can do daily party quests, they give you 3-10 gems each, and you can do 5 everyday.
re-rolling over gems… is ridiculous. Gems are not limited, they can be farmed.
