Soooo, i began farming again today. After they changed the drop rates from a pure percentile to an incremental drop rate, i lost all interest in farming mats because the rate of drops seemed even less than when it was a static DPK. I’m not an avid forumer or post much at all, however this was bugging me. People are telling me the drops are messed up and the DPK has been increased on mobs due to the incremental drop rate. I enjoyed farming mats when the drops were purely percentile because I could farm for a hour and not feel like i was just wasting my time. I’m creating this thread to revoke the decision of incrementally increased DPK and bring back the pure percentile system. There might be other threads out there like mine, i don’t know, but i think this would make the game much more enjoyable for the casual players like myself. Let IMC and myself know your thoughts on the subject at hand. Thanks. Best of luck to you and your farming!!!
I support this, just set everythin rng
The new system is fine, they just need to increase the rates for some items. Somewhere in their formula something is messed up with low droprate items that is making them appear even more rarely. It doesn’t seem to have effected items with a previous DPK of 100 or lower.
So agree dpk of 900 for charog horn. what is this…
I picked a bad time to farm a Terrallion.
current orange mats drop rate more worst than the 500-600dpk era lul
and I tot I can come back to test my sr for awhile
I lvled a oracle character to grind manahas set, but the grind is so booring and frustrating that i’m giving up most of the times after 1~2h on the spot.
What you just described is IMC’s idea of a good time. Hence, this retarded drop rate.
I once read an oracle spend 5hr resetting…alone… holy
