Hello guys ! I was aiming to make a Dragoon build with SM>PELT>HOPC2>CATAC2>DRAGOON

But after seeing a lot of comment about “If you go Cata go C3” i was thinking about a build without Dragoon at C7 but take it at C8 something like that : http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/4nzolqrhfq/

Hoplit C2 for : Perma Finestra - Stab with spear lunge - stabbing lvl +

Cata C3 for : Perma Trot - Impaler (for the lolz) - EW lvl 15 x6 hits - Rush

But now we have a release about C2 dragoon and i was wondering about if it’s better to drop Hop C2 to go on Dragoon C2 :confused:

So i would love to have your opinion about it ^^

it won’t work.
dragon2 is coming with a 100% damage buff, there is no combination that you have choose that can surpass that, the best option is to go with hop1, and later on maybe take hop2, since you want finestra and stabbing and spear lunge.
but be aware that the build hop3 doppel dragon, would have a lot more damage than the one with cata, a lot more, since you want boss-pve, more damage is always better.

I will agree on what @nery_ma said. But beware that this build is a pain barrier dependent while doing dps. But overall, based on my experience as hoplite 3, it’s really good.

Remove pelt and get cata 3 then dragoon 2. Probably comparable to C3 dopple in damage.

not gonna happen, Pelt is rank 2. And Doppel is the best choice for damage, compare dmg with a doppel, Cata3 is below trash.

Well he didnt specify what rank he is, so assuming he planned to build this from scratch removing pelt is a wise choice considering you will get damage reduction in the upcoming patch. OP likes cata and dragoon combo that is something i respected about, getting cata 2 is not worth it, so he has no choice but to get Rush at C3. Dragoon c1 is not good too, he will deal less damage compared to Dragoon2 counterpart. Best choice on the path he wants is Cata3 Dragoon 2. Melee debuff + high attribute Rush could deal somewhere 8k+ per tick. Good wiz3 elem 3 deals around 8k per FC.

Your internation is pretry good but let me repeat this: Pelt is RANK 2, and at rank2 you have 3 choices only.
Cata 3 is trash when comparing dmg to even rank 1 doppel.
Dragoon c2 is rank 8 but even rank 1 is overwhelming already.

he can get whatever he wants other than pelt before cata3, get C2 Sword for concentrate or hoplite or barbarian to abuse that slash additional debuffs from cleave if he doesnt mind mounting again cause rush is slash too. Slash debuffs + melee additional damage then rush sounds scary and definitely greater than DOV 10 or comparable to DOV 15. You get Dragoon 2 for the melee additional damage thats massive damage boost for just 1 rank so Dragoon 1 is out of question. Considering he wants to be mounted, he cant use dopple cyclone with that unless you want him to remove cata but thats just against on what he prefers so getting dopple would mean no cata 3. Using cyclone while being a cata is not good you only use that for stun locking in PVP.

He wants to remove cata then he will deal more than damage.

You just bite your tongue by suggesting something even worse lol.
Sw2 is total trash and Highlander is not compatible with mounting path.
Cyclone can be used when mounted and that guy wants a pve build.
Please stop lol, your naive is straining my brain.

Sw2 is not trash anymore with scaling concentrate.

Where did you get that? Give link here cause you know i have cata3 with dopple.

Sw2 is still total trash even with new scaling. Pelt is the best for low rank filter unless you have specific build.
And sorry about Cyclone, I got it from an old build.

You dont get sw2 for concentrate, you get it for restrain, which becomes really good at lvl 10. when we talk about pvp, right now the swordsman c3 builds are the best.
