Draggon Support Full STR

Hi saviors,

I created this build for a support/dps dragoon. Not focused in dps. Full STR or full DEX.

Highlord

The idea is Sword2 to have Restrain, that can be used to stun with Cyclone and Pain Barrier.
Highlander 3 for Brake Armor. Bleed and Shock.
-Braker Armor: 15 Skull Swing. The level of the skill adds time duration effect.
-Bleed: 1 Point for Crosscut. Not need more.
-Shock: 15 Points Crown. Full time debuff, great for Mages, it reduces a lot their damage with INT and SPR debuff
-If STR build CrossGuard 2 to block and more Piercing Damage. Need THS
Doppel 1 as filler, since I think is better than Sword3.
Dragoon 2. Estándar build, but as support I put 5 points in Gae Bulg.

My only concern for this build is Stats. How much Bleeding damage increases with STR? If Bleed can crit, maybe its better going for Full DEX with no CrossGuard.

I have not tested this build. Is theorical.

Since I saw a video of bleeding doing crit is better going High DEX, with 50 Points in STR.

For a Hihglander Dragoon i think is much better this build. To be viable as support with Highlander in parties need a lot of AOE, Vubble Gloves, lvl 40 Plate Set that gives 2 aoe. And Finestra buff (I hope buff stays if switch weapons).
While leveling, can use Two Handed Sowrds or One Hand Spear/Shield, Dagger. At rank 7 use Two Handed Spear or One Hand Spear. At 315 One Hand Spear Purple or Two handed Spear Yellow one for more crit rate and crit attack.
With 400 Crit rate base + 100 Finestra + Weapon is around 500 or 550 crit rate. A lot more with Sissels and Elleganos Cards or Green Gems. Can put Yellow Gems if enought Crit Rate, like 600+

Highlord Hoplite

If dont like Highlander, classic Sword1, Pel1, Hoplite3, Doppel, Draggon2 is still good build. Can take out Pel1 for Sword2 if you want Restrain.

the thing i’m trying to understand is where is that gonna be more useful than just a straight up cleric/wizard support? how is it better than taking a taoist for storm calling, and how is it better than just a straight up dps hoplite dragoon, or a highlander doppel (or barb doppel)
i get what your trying to do, i just don’t see it fit anywhere, might be good in WB situations though.

people would rather have missile hole

gae bolg sounds good on paper but in reality its really not useful
you are esssentially building a mediocre character that can only do decent stuff and not really good at anything in particular.
you could do it as a dps build if you wanted and go full dex but i don’t see it work as a support build especially with the amount of utility clerics and support wizards like chronos and sages b ring to the table.
people would rather have missile hole ausrine and meltsis

Yes is a build for Support Bossing or casual playing. Difficult to fit in other scenarios. But I was thinking more as investment in rank 9 or 10 mainly for Break Armor.

Interesting concept, but I would do differently.

If you plan to support, get the tanking role too.

You went highlander for the armor break? That’s nice and highlander kit scales really well into the late game assuming your weapon progress + serpentine debuff, but you have another option for support and armor break: peltasta 3. Pelt 3 also has armor break and is arguably more useful as a support than another swordsman without taunt.

You still have two circles to fit and you can roll hoplite 2 for that extra support with spear lunge. Spear Lunge + Serpentine will be great to support Fencers (they don’t really need armor break since they have coquille, but archers and other swords like barb doppels enjoy it) and also allows you to be very independent when alone with your strong pierce damage. Don’t even need full con, with Finestra and good stats distribution and swash buckler’s +25% hp bonus you can tank well and dps okay with a decent critical rate.

Basically the classic foot dragoon but giving up on Doppel c1 + Hop c3 (so, a huge dps loss since no deeds, -50 crit rate and no spear throw) but bringing armor break, guardian and a huge taunt to the mix.

It does not fell like a very fun build to play but it can works…
Edit: if dragoon c3 sux or don’t fit your playstyle, even murmillo c1 could be great on r9, that helmet alone is OP for survivability lol

Thats fine, thanks, didnt know that Pel3 has Armor Break too. I see with that build you cant switch weapons, from 1hand spear and shield to two hand spear; thats why 25% more hp with pelasta now is lost when switch to another weapon. But is a good semi tank/dps build.

I made mine because I wanted to make a Highlander no Doppel with Dragoon. Dont like Pel Doppel Draggon, and mounted draggon. But for party play seems your build will fit better as taunt.

Only to remember, Finestra buff wears out if you remove any spear. Example, if you switch 1/2 hand spear to a 2 hand sword, it will dissappear.

Youre welcome!

The truth is, Finestra is not a buff, it is a stance switch called Widow Stance, exclusive for 1/2 Handed Spears. This stance would be quite strange when using Swords, holding it from the top, one handed, and trusting it downward, instead of slashing as Swords are supposed to do

Now is crystal clear for me. If you want to have pelasta in your build better use one hand spear and shield, because 25% buff to hp is lost when switch weapons too (same with finestra).

With the build I made hoplite highlander, need to choose in rank 7 to use one hand spear and dagger or shield or two hand spear. problem with 2 hand spear is that 315 are terrible.

What i doubt in the hoplite highlander build is with 10 secs serpentine buff I have enought time to cast draggon spells and then have time for the highlander spells.

Dragoon Skills are quite fast. Dethrone can be almost instantly cancelled, the whole 3 hit, upward motion from serpentine can be cancelled, dragon soar can be cancelled on mid upward motion.

Only Dragontooth that can not be cancelled and it still requires some chargint time…

did wizard/cleric have serpentine, cross guard, spear lunge?
