No, and such an add-on would become subject to ridiculing players with low dps and calling them out. No matter what the argument, this is why we can’t have anything nice.
The same argument keeps being brought up in FFXIV as well. If such an add-on were to exist you’d have to be mum about it and keep dps numbers/results to yourself.

I dont get the big deal about being ridiculed because of low dps. It happens to people once, they could brush over a little guide and optimize their play and as long as they keep playing everything will be easier - more fun.
If you tell someone his dps is very low he will be surprised but often open for improvement anyway. Sometimes the newbies see the big boys do stuff and they want in on it too.
No reason to be ashamed that you aren’t into MMOs yet. Not like this is rocket science.

People will be discriminated against for Earth Tower even without a DPS meter. That is the nature of end game.

All sorts of stuff. End game content I feel will always be about a small community of people that will eventually know the others who are good enough to do end game.
I am up for a DPS meter so as to grade people into doing hard dungeons such as Earth Tower.
People need to understand that they need to keep up with their gears as well as with the appropriate play style for their class. Most high-geared people wouldnt want to carry you unless you are a friend or a guildmate
People want a DPS meter because they want to track THERE dps. IDGAF about others people dps, i want to see what % increase i get from lvl 5 -> 10 for a paticular skill so i know if its only a 10% increase, i can put those 5 points elsewhere. People are so silly sometimes.
NBot everyone wants the dps meter for the same reason as you. I feel you on wanting to see the increase of your own dmg, but elitists do exist
again - i dont want a dps meter than has party members #'s, someone just make an addon that shows my dmg in a chat window or smthing that only i can see. Every other MMO has it for a reason, for the min/maxers can adjust accordingly.
