I’m particularly fond of smiters/holy mages, and I was hoping you guys could suggest what circles/ skills would fit the fantasy?
I’m alright with supportive builds, but I’d like something that could function in a solo environment.
How about an Int Type Paladin?
You have lightning/Heal/SPRegen/Elem Resist/ Bonus dmg to mutant or demons
Cleric2 > Krivis > Pala3
If you’re ok without lightning, I’d recommend an Str type for smite skill
Cleric2 > Dievderby > Pala3
Bokor: voodoo class
Notes: first availiable cleric dps class, summons zombies, zombie train

Sadhu: can go out of body for attacks
notes: Second avaliable dps class, currently in a bad state do to oob nerf, but possession is really high dmg, dont go c3, if you go sadhu, take only c2, c1 and c3 arent good

dievdirby is pretty strong, but its listed as support/utility, its dps is really strong though
If you want to be a smiter, you have to become Paladin. But Paladin C3 is the less useful class now, thanks to Pardoner. If you can overcome that part, you can try these builds.

Bokor is weak and too much mana consuming.
Chaplain, Paladin and Monk are melee. Melee dps life is hell/nightmare in this game. But if you really want to melee best option is monk.
Now, let’s get real…
Cleric2 is a must, then you can choose between:
Diev x Krivis x Druid x PD variations:
Krivis1 or Krivis3
Diev2 or Diev3
Druid1 or Druid2
PD1
Pick any combination of those 7 options based on your play style!
They play very differently but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
Just watch some YouTube to see how they play.
Krivis>Druid is the best PvE DPS imo
Diev3>PlagueDoc is also a good option
Monk is funny to play with but not very functional atm, hope they buff him
For INT based DPS clerics I’d suggest:
Cleric C2 - Krivis C2 - Sadhu/Bokor - Druid - Plague Doctor
-Cleric C2 for the healing you need to be viable late game.
-Krivis C2 for the thunder skill attribute that lets it AOE, some party buffs too.
-Bokor’s Hexing and Effigy synergizes with Plague Doctor and allows him to spread hexing to every mob around him, doing really great damage.
-Sadhu instead of Bokor if you don’t care about hexing and want to do good damage with out of body and spirit explosion.
-Druid for some more aoe damage and fun skills.
-Plague Doctor to top it off with great utility, incinerate damage, and synergy.
Great healer, numerous ways to deal damage with decent AOE and DPS.
I’m personally a Priest C3 - Monk 2 - Plague doctor. Even as full str with con, plague doctor works really well as we have magic attack from blunts and P.D spreads ailments.
Bokor is not weak, effigy is a strong skill, esp with PD. Zombies will also be buffed/fixed. Just a little SPR and effigy is not a problem.
Plus, bokors are great at soloing, and that’s what OP wants.
My build: ClericC2->KrivisC2->BokorC2->PD

I see… Although that reply was directed at me, I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt that you are actually addressing the main poster.
Because if it was for me, that would mean… that you are implying that anyone above Pala1 will regret choosing that class as per your comment.
If it is directed at the main poster, then you can disregard this message as that would mean as a message for intellectual curiosity.
i personally really dislike the bokor class and it really annoying to get one in your dungeon runs.
for high dps i’d advise something like diev-druid-plague doctor tho it wouldn’t fit your fantasy, only the good dps part
paladin 3 is really weak and convictions damage doesn’t make up for two ranks of no damage.

If only paladins are DPS classes then I would agree with you. However, it still isn’t enough reason to regret getting Paladin3.

- Mainly C1 Cleric > C2 Krivis > C3 Paladin > PD for this build
- The other build where as C2 Cleric > C1 Krivis > C3 Paladin > PD is more effective for late game scaling.
Krivis Druid [Almost fully geared]
Level - 280
Damage - 5k Zaibas
Krivis Druid Full Gears
You can easily gain 318 Magic Amplification with Animus build with Aukuras + Restoration [with attributes] + Level 280 based regeneration alone.
if only they were actual tank classes. maybe even have something similar to swashbuckling.
@judex ’ >,< … it seems you have the wrong idea of what paladins are.
Then allow me to inform you.
Paladins are not DPS, are not Tanks, are not full supports.
They are Semi-Support, Partial DPS, and Boast insane magic/elem resistances.
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding you may have. As such, no one would ever pick Paladin for their DPS(the blue icon should’ve indicate this strongly), or being a tank(when does a cleric even have a sustain aggro skill.)
