Dpk more difficult than before?

Your reward was the fact that you got it earlier than the rest. What makes you think that every piece of gear you worked hard for in the past should only be an exclusive right to you, forever?

Gear should change and you should move on to better gear, not complain on the forums that others might not have to drop out of school / work just to maybe catch up to you?

It was hard making a Zega spear in the early access and it was hard to even complete 130 dungeon back in those days because no one had good gear. ā– ā– ā– ā– , people couldn’t complete any dungeon past 50 in the one hour time limit without a linker + healer in their parties.

Obviously stuff gets easier and stuff moves on, but no one here is complaining that it’s now easier to get a rare hat from a world boss and that oh no, I had to compete with 20x Fletchers to get mine NO ONE SHOULD HAVE IT EASY BECAUSE I DIDN’T!

There is no reason. Look at some of the low level maps, they’re packed to the brim with mobs that have a 5 second respawn rate. I remember when the game first launched and these areas were absolutely packed with new players and there were no real performance issues except for the general server issues they were having in the first couple weeks; after they sorted that out there were still tons of new characters in the low level maps and no channels were crashing or anything.

With so many maps they could easily diversify areas to have different spawn rates and mob difficulty so that less of the content is irrelevant, ex. maps with higher numbers of small weak mobs would be best for AoE burst builds, maps with tougher less densely populated spawns for low AoE DPS builds, maps with lots of tough and dangerous enemies for party grinding. Instead there’s like 1-2 viable grinding areas in every level range and most require a party.

Yeah they ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  up something in last patch about respawn.

Trying to farm random mobs in ~lvl260 map, kill a bunch first 5 minutes in 2 channel (30/40). After that only got 1 respawn every minute or so, with some random cluster every 4/5min.

And after a while got no monsters at all for like 15minutes and choose to go to sleep… (on ch1 and ch2), really fun to play a farming game without mobs xD

Did they ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  up again and mix/merges patch randomly ?
(Not even talking about some monster having HP multiply by 2 for no reason and in total stealth too)

I tried farming brown colimen flowers in HG again. No luck this time. I’m starting to think the only things worth farming now are HG’s below 200 because silver and gold mobs in those have guaranteed HG gear.

ATM I’d go either Dragoon for just solid damage or Doppel for more loot and DoV. I don’t really like Shinobi, but maybe it’s good too. I’ll probably reroll when rebalance comes.

Today, got 2 Lyoni horns sub 30 kills each…wow…all that compiled salt finally paid off

Almost there… waiting some confirms and few edits this would come to live in no time.

The spawn still sucks and DPK been map based instead of character based sucks even harder…

once someone else enter the map all hope goes to hell, cause the moment one get the item it screw over the other person hard…


also, some recipes items are worthless to get cause you out-level them by like 50+ levels just by grinding the mob that holds the item alone :expressionless:

I hope we can get some answers on the drop state soon, Yuri. Its not fun have to sit for 3+ hours and not being able to see a single drop. Specially when needing 40+ for a single item.

Hey guys, really whats going on with the droprates? I can’t stand it, been farming yellow caro like forever.

Please clear up this dpk issue. Been farming green charogs and it went like this:
#1: 280++ kills
#2: 300++ kills
#3. 1200+++ and counting, still no drop.

Gave up on 3rd attempt. Pretty sure no one else went to the map for that whole time.

Seriously, getting tired of this BS. At least give us a clear mechanics for this bs dpk.

The thing I’m not interested in hearing about is their future plans for the DPK system. We’re always behind these patches. What I’d like to know is A) If the company Ninja Nerf’d their update or B) If they broke it accidentally and have no idea how to repair it. I don’t think any sane company will directly admit their wrongs because sponsors will frown upon this, but perhaps they can hint at it by stating ā€œwe’re revising the system and these are our immediate plans to fix the on-going issueā€ hence the blog update.

For starters:

Personal DPK does NOT exist currently. Changing channels WILL reset DPK count (tested for a few hours over the span of 5 days)

I’ve had my DPK mats drop for other people walking into the mapo

DPK does seem to drop sooner after the first long push – for an example,. we pushed 1.2k for Ornament to finally drop and had another one drop at 200 kills in.

Ornament: 1,483 - drop
Reset: 293 - Drop
Reset: 2830 - Stolen
4606 for 3 drops - 1 stolen.

It seems to me that sometimes the item will not drop within DPK range most of the time, which is immensely confusing and frustrating.

What I want to know is – why did IMC not answer the community properly and directly when their system that was implemented stopped working as intended?

Do staff that try their part to get us answer always get forced into releasing a ā€œdevelopers blogā€?

I think those are the questions I really want answered. I’m thankful @STAFF_Yuri has taken the time to help us. It’s been a while coming, but it’d be very disappointing to hear that they’re not going to fix their own implemented system before the big upcoming change to the system in its entirety.

Even so, I look forward to see what precisely is being addressed in the blog and am thankful to Yuri for taking the time to get confirmations and releasing information.

Pick one.

The way I understood it if personal DPK indeed doesn’t exist which I believe so, this only happens when there are zero players on the map similar to how Squire camps disappear on maps with zero pop.

I’m kind of alarmed on the trend with DPK reset as reported by a lot of players here. It seems to be INCREASING at each drop reset. If personal DPK does exist, is this IMC’s way of minimizing spot camping?
