Like always i go all the mornings to farm kugheri sword, before the dpk broke with the bug i get my swords in like 500-600 DPK, now after this bug i come to drop again and i dont drop nothing in around 3 hrs and 1572 kill’s, have the possibility to have a bug again and dont drop nothing?, i already drop 260 Kugheri Cloth, 84 Kugheri ornament, 8 Blue Orb and 2 Red Orb but no one sword D: (and im alone in the ch)
it seems like its bugged, me and my friends went to farm balaam camp again and we got only 1 box in 1hour
, yes we were alone in the map (all channels), i hope this gets fixed with today’s maint along with the quick cast bug -_-
I got 4 lyoni horns in 1 hour yesterday, it was amazing, then nothing for 1 hour… so, i think it doesnt work like we think. I was alone in the map.
I think the dpk is messed up in certain channel. My friend did 1000 kill on ch2 got nothing, but when he switch to ch1 on the next day, it finally dropped
they should really consider just making it %
this dpk system is causing more damage and confusion than help players
I was under the understanding that the drop for DPK items were previously changed to be map-bound a couple of patches ago.
Changing channels shouldn’t matter.

Yeah, but that’s the past… you just mentioned your friend did 1k kills in CH-X and then switched over to CH-Z and got a drop finally. If my understanding is correct, this is inconsequential.
He continued to farm in the next day. To make it easier to understand.
He killed 1000 on ch2 but nothing dropped.
On the next day, the killed around 1000 too but on ch1 and finally got one.
He also sure that he was alone the whole time on both days.
DPK+ %based drop rate its ok to be honest, the current system its % and DPK based and i dont see why some people dont understand how good this is, some friends actually think that DPK should be removed but i disagree because DPK and % feels like the perfect balance since you can get your item by pure luck with % or get something for sure after the DPK conditions are complete, changing it to % may do things actually harder
if you are unlucky.
As a personal experiencie while farming malinas staffs i got 2 of them by luck way before the DPK count and 1 of them with the DPK conditions, i feel like if it was all % based i could actually having to kill EVEN MORE than the DPK count, wich its bad.
What we need to understand its that the bug was caused thanks to the patch that pretended that DPK was not reseted, wich NO ONE asked for
in the end they messed up and to this day havent fixed the issue. To be honest i rather go back to DPK reseting after maint than keep playing the way it is atm

Oh and I believe we were not describing the same thing, so just to be straight with it…
I thought that DPK drops were no longer channel bound but instead channel-shared… eg: Item drops after X amount of monsters were killed among all channels… to avoid channel crash losses.

Being alone in the channel means nothing, if there are players in other channels… it simply means his kill count reached a point together with the kill count of another player, where the item dropped, but in another channel, and then back to the start. It’s not a bug, it’s simply how it works.
The real bug happened before all this mess, when leaving a map reset your DPK counter everytime, making you waste all the kills you did before leaving, then when they tried to fix this, the super drop rate DPK bug happened.
If that’s the case, they just made it’s way harder to farm now. Especially with competition, before everyone could split to each channel.
I think their approach was to combat the “DPK-counting and subsequent sniping” (just to be 100% clear, there’s no problem with counting it, just the sniping part) of loots as well as the DPK-progress being lost when a channel crashes (which happens a lot).
Are you sure the patch is already applied? There were nothing in patch note regard this.
2 days ago I got a zeffi ornament then changed channel and after 30+ kills got another.
Was top-down implemented? I’m sure it says they don’t have a release date for it at the bottom of that interview. So why are we posting it for reference?.
@pc.wf Read again, this system has been implemented a few patches ago, what they’re talking about is to implement new way to acquire items (shops, trading via NPCs, etc.)
@fairyhell I think there may have been some misconceptions about this system, this is not the OLD usual DPK where you reached the DPK number and the items dropped, this is a RNG+DPK version that’s been implemented a few patches ago: every time you kill a mob, you get an higher and higher % of said items to drop off that mob, and, in the worst case scenario, you reach the full DPK number and you get it anyway.
This means the item could drop way before 500 DPK if you’re lucky, or at 500 DPK if you’re unlucky. The only scenarios where you ended up going for 500+ kills and still no drop, is when other players where in other channels and killing monsters they got your loot, since it’s map-wise.
Note: Before a shitstorm comes my way, I’m not trying in any way to say this is a great system, I’m just trying to explain how it works
My guess is IMC did a sneaky patch regard DPK in that weekend temporary maintenance and at the same time caused the dpk issue as we known. Before that, I’m 100% sure it was channel bound because I was farming Lyoni the whole time, just before last weekend.

Personally, we already know that and we looked into all channels, the map was empty, except for us, and we still did get just 1 box in 1 hour, and previously we got 0 boxes in 2 hours, i think that speaks for itself.
To be honest we are done with HG farm, we are wasting our time there and their last compensation was ■■■■, 1 entry token and 1 one entry reset, LMAO.
Oh just to be clear, I was only expounding on something I mentioned earlier. This is not necessarily a stance for or against anything 
Of course if something is broken, they should fix it.
