I have a general question, I want to create a dps swordsman, only pve in fact, I was thinking about swordsman1->peldasta1->barbarian3->doppel and higher dex:str 2:1 as stats.
Is a good idea? Or is there another better way to be the main dps player in a party being a swordsman?
At the moment, either archer or wizard can out dps swordsmen by a significant margin. Some would argue that some cleric builds can out dps swordsmen as well.
Long story short, unless you enjoy tanking (meaning, swashbuckling for easy agro and mobbing at the moment), don’t play swordsman.
Yeah, I had read about it, but I like melee hehe, I was thinking in a mix build, having peldasta circle 1 for swashbuckling but be able to hit hard aoe, is it possible?
i don’t know about level 220+ but until 220 i’ve seen this dopple almost completely solo a dungeon he was so fast on destroying enemies it felt like the other 4 member including me was following him. and when we reach bosses it’s already 1/4 hp. that guy is a beast.

i know you want to be that strong but at this point since everyone says that swordsman isn’t supposed to deal that much damage i started to think that maybe that guy has some BS equip that he buy with real money to make him that strong.
Slots are limited people want a Frontliner (peltasta). DPS is still valued but presuming that you can also frontline and group up enemies.
2 swordsmans in a group are often undesirable since you could get well another cleric or mage.
There are ways for 2 swordman comps to be really sweet but eh.
Yes, that is why I am thinking about get Peldasta circle1 to be tank in some moments, but I want to know which its the best way to build this around thinking about DPS, no full tank at all, maybe a hybrid hehe
well, there is no that in this game (now), you can pay for tokens but no to get better unique equip
