Doubt with wizard 3 zzzzz

Hello guys.

I played wiz > pyro 2 > ele in the CBT2 and it was just AWESOME. I couldn’t go as in depth as i wanted with ele but tested for a while.

Anyways, as i’m not noticed about the new changes done in ToS, i wanted to ask what would be better, if:

  1. Wiz 3 > Ele 3 > Warlock
  2. Wiz > Pyro 2 > Ele 3 > Warlock

I suppose that the strong thing in Wiz 3 class is the ability to cast quite faster plus not being interrupted when casting, what brings more power to Ele class but… Is it worthy to waste that Pyro power/burst?

PD: What do you think about Warlock, too. Any suggestions?

I’m planning to go the Wiz 3>Ele 3>???(leaning towards warlock atm as well) as well, and something you didn’t mention is Quickcast’s attribute. At 5, it’ll give you +50% magic damage or w/e.

Now if that’s worth the trade off from pyro, I’m not sure. I also did Wiz1>Pyro2>Ele1 in the beta. I’m wiz2 atm and no fireground(forgot the name)/fireball kinda sucks, but eh.

Yeah. I’m too afraid from sucking at lvling. Only Energy Bolt (9s cd) is just a madness for leveling and i play alone. So i was thinking that maybe it’s worth to sacrifice ele + wizz3 burst for leveling decently. I don’t actually know :<.

Yes it’s worth it. When you realize your ele is going to take 3-4 sec to cast a single spell, you will wish you have gone wiz c3 when archers are shooting arrows at your face. your life as an ele will be unbearable without it. either you go c3 wizard and then ele or you dont go ele at all.

You can easily join random parties to get quest kills up to level 45. 1 point in Earthquake should help with cleaning waves of mobs. Save 5 points to buy Magic Missile as soon as you hit c3 Wizard. You can cast it twice within the cooldown and each missile bounces off on impact with a mob. Some projectiles can miss, but it’s still amazing for cleaning rooms.

I’ll probably build like that. Although i’m not sure about 1:1 INT:CON.

Would be nice if people post here their ideas.

Is this for pvp or pve? I’ve seen people take stone curse since that’s suppose to be strong or I’m I misinformed? Thanks for putting the time to complete the build btw appreciate it.

Stone Curse is really bad. High cd, long cast time and worst of all: petrify raise target def 10x which make them almost invulnerable.

I liked your build what kind of stat distribution would be best?

I just started a Wizard so, and def have my sights on this.

Depend but only int and con.
Int > con for pve.
Con > int for pvp.

Ah I see…so really you would want to see where you would go with that character, PVE or PVP.

Wiz 3 > Ele 3 > Warlock definitely
but yes, it will suck to lvl that wiz3, however I see that with the 60 days token the exp rates are quite good so it’s a good time to do it

First 45 levels is rly easy as long as you’re on a channel with enough people thinning the mobs, so you won’t get stuck at mob cluster.

if I want to spec for pvp what is the ratio I should be aiming for? 1:1 int/con or even more for con?
