Double Weapon Assault

My suggestion: make your swordman take regular “holidays”. Take your time and “check out” others non swordman classes or if you only love swordman do the “same” all others do. The last case you can always go play another game for a while and check foruns (daily like some people do).

OBS: still hoping they move guns from corsair C3 to C2 and make a worth C3 corsair skill.

Mmmh? I wasn’t trolling it was just a question because i’m thinking about making a corsair myself. Don’t think people are always here on forums to troll you ^^
Where monks are pretty OP is that they can spamm their skill with the lesser stamina pill, while maybe for playing a corsair we’d need to use the highest one :confused:

Yes yes im playing archer qs3 atm this is why I was able to compare both classes and their skills because I have both of them my sword just turned corsair c2 before the maintenance., guess I’ll just keep this toon for team level until dwa gets tweaked or eventually delete it… so disappointed and pissed atm I might have deleted this corsair but that would be too much as I’ve spent a hundred hours on this one already…

welp I also angry on how DWA ended to be… specially as veteran RO player that love thief class (assassin/rogue) that had double attack passive and was amazing with double wielding

I don’t know what devs were thinking while making this skill but

a) making player to button mash C + Z like maniac
b) making each attack drain stamina

is the most stupid design ever when classes like Archer2/3 or specially Q3 gets skills that change them into machine guns and they don’t have to spam attack buttons nor their stamina isn’t drained like mad

Double Weapon Assult should be changed ASAP.

Remove stamina cost and make character automatically use dagger attack every time player press Z button (or click with mouse if using mouse mode).

At this point there is no reason to go DWA 5/5 or 9/10 when C3 Corsair… you either just put 1 point or ignore this garbage skill at all. You could even have 100 stamina and you still would drain out of it super fast and then can’t move while every Q3 would laugh in your place while kiting you and shooting 100 arrows per second in your face


A.)Bugged Main hand dmg loses its dmg property
B.)makes you stay in place (melee range)
C.)Drains Stamina
D.)requires you to mash two buttons to use
F.)Simply removes mainhand and offhand usage delay. No dmg bonus no aspd bonus so good for an r6 c2 skill wowowow.

Btw we are comparing an r4 and an r6 skill here wherein one is melee and the other one is ranged.

it doesnt work on mouse mode you have to manually press sub - main to connect them , if you use it on mouse mode and attack via left click you’re toon will basically attack using you’re main weapon and thats it.

I’m a Corsair c2 with Shinobi on my swordsman, and honestly, Double Weapon Assault is great to use during times when other skills are on cooldown, it works great in combination with Priest/Chaplain buffs because those proc on both hits.

The stamina isn’t much of an issue if you run good enough gear, plate increases your stamina and theres a bunch of boots that increase your stamina too. There’s also a few hidden quests that increase your stamina. If you’re still having stamina issues buy a bunch of stamina pills from the merchants in Orsha or Klaipeda.

O.o we know its great but it sucks alot compared to archer’s aspd buffs have you ever tried playing QS3? Or an archer 2/3? I suggest you try them out and observe their aspd buffs which gives aspd, dmg bonus and more attack range at the cost of a small amount of sp without stamina drain. Yes their skills dont have stamina drain whilst ours only removes the delay of using main and off hand weapon and drains 2 stamina/sec which is totally unfair for us melees…

please read the post you clearly, dont understand the point of this thread im asking/whining here for balance we are so underpowered because of minimal buff effects that we have now while other classes have 2-3 bonuses all in a single buff this is so unfair for us if they have damage and stat bonuses some even based in % which would scale up until endgame thus making their builds viable in different aspects, dont you think we should have those too? We must work this out for the devs to see that swordsman class is clearly underpowered and is in need of a full class rework unless you’ll just follow what the elitists say and build up for meta which is totally sh1t atm.

The latest kToS patch in regards to Corsair’s DWA just made it workable with Pistols.

Yep, now we have a bugged skill which can be used with a pistol… YEY :unamused:

But seriously, from launch and rank 6 this game’s totally failed to deliver the “assassin” concept. They have classes like Corsairs who’re able to do something while dual wielding (and not just use offhand stats to boost main weapon skills), Shinobis who can go invisible and do high risk attacks by cloning themselves and rogues who have bonus for attacking from behind, but it simply doesn’t work together (not even in the same base class tree) nor does it follow a common theme.

Current corsair updates have pretty much been consolidated as a support class for archers (it also boost its own pistol skill, but seriously, that’s gotta be the WORST Circle 3 Rank 7 skill in the game), without any improvement towards dual weilding and damage dealing. Every single problem people have talked about in this and many other feedback/bug report threads is still here. Have I mentioned worst circle 3 of rank 7 content?

Rogue’s in a even worse situation: it’s a one circle, which’s far from a wonder. Whenever you go rogue 1 for the sneak hit buff you’re stuck with having to equip Werewolf cards, reducing build diversirty by a lot. If you so dare to go further on Rogue you’re doomed to a really buggy Backstab skill which hardly procs the bonus from attacking from behind with it’s incredibly small hitbox and buggy damage mechanics. DO NOT, I repeat do not, venture burrowing yourself or you won’t even be able to use your own class skills. And no, Hackapell doesn’t save the class, buggy mechanics are still there alongside hacka’s own set of problems…

Back to swordies, Shinobi’s been dragged along the murmillo compability route, so it’s basically a shield-weilding (WTF!) class now. The compatibility skill list for clones mainly includes skills which can be boosted by wearing the Cassis helmet from Murmillo, with a few extra hardly relevant exceptions to any assassin themed build you could come up with a Shinobi, for instance clones not being able to copy any corsair skills. (Besides buggy mechanics of its own, obviously)

I guess that’s it for assassin themed classes as of now. Let’s hope IMC’s devs can actually do something about it at rank 9 since hope’s long gone at current rank 8 content.

TL:DR: Cheers, fellow assassin-denied saviors. Let’s all go back to playing our useful clerics now (who needs an assassin when you can bring about the Inquisition itself, right?)

get red ox from uphill def, its an item that lets you have infinite stamina for 10 mins, easy to acquire

You still really think consuming stamina is the main issue here lol? It’s but a cherry.

it ok about consume stamina but please add normal power attack for this buff like a running shot maybe +100% 200% something like that.

but first thing i hope next week imc will update this skill can use with pistol please.
