Do you use DWA alternating between Z and C? That makes it difficult to connect your attacks. Try mashing only Z while holding C, that should solve your problem.
You can use it with other weapons too (1H spear, rapiers…) and it’s good for my Corsair Reti when every other skill is on cooldown.
I think he meant that the sword slash is so fast that it just straight up cancels dagger attack. This can easily happen on sword + pistol when the swords attack becomes too fast, the pistol don’t get a chance to fire.
You correctly said, the knife blow passes with some chance after the attack with the sword.
I found out Yesterday that DWA Atkspd is not affected by DEX and i was very dissapointed. Flat atk speed bonuses work however, like Frenzy and Quicken.
Please enable DWA to scale with DEX IMC!!
