If Crown + Moulinet, HL C2 is ok or need C3 for damage?

Highlander c2 is more than enough though vertical slash is c3 skill and is better than dragoon’s skill anyways. What is your path btw?
Rotation is king, once youve done Crown + moulinet, you can also Cross + double slash too, as doubles copy that skill aswell

No, it copies double slash 
Good in theory but synchro thrusting is the only copy- able skill in hoplite and it requires shield so yeah weapon switch. Highlander 2 has moulinet copy-able but Pelt 1 has 2 copyable skills and about 2 more in pelt 3. Swordsman 3 double slash also copy-able by clones. Rodelero also has 3 or 4 copy-able skills iirc.
I’ll get to the point. If you want to be a shinobi you must drop corsair. It will be playable and deal damage but not the way you want it to be. Although if you want to build a for fun build then better wait for a next get ahead event.
I would say to ditch Hoplite for Highlander 3, if you’re going to roll with Shinobi…
Might as well make Crown, Moulinet, and Skyliner even more amazing.
The aoe from Finestra is really good, but Crown and Moulinet hitboxes aren’t all that big, and the clones won’t copy the buff anyway
Also, ignore Cartar and only add 1 point to Crosscut… the bleed doesn’t scale with it’s level sadly. Just add those 9 points to max Vertical and 4/5 Skull S., after you’ve maxed the other 3 major skills.
