Doppel Solmiki 21F-30F solo DPS with 4 support

Doppelsoeldner c3 has been rated 4 star by ET handbook, that is not right, below 5 star SR and Elementalist in terms of DPS ? This particular classes has the potential to be 6 star in the hand of a player who only plays Doppel as his only char and since the start where Swordsmen is considered thrash.

We all know that, that handbook is outdated (Rank 7). Barbarian3 got a big boost on its damage with wild attribute. Btw, are you gonna re-roll to Sarkmis? I’ll say goodbye to my stage 5 Gale Slasher. The 3 gem slots just make it much better. I already have 150 CON so is not a big deal, plus the 150 crit rate bonus from Cleave+wild attribute, sounds like we can reach crit cap without going full DEX.
Still debating if going Solmiki leather set or plate set. The plate set grants me pretty much 100k HP, probably 150k HP with Ein Sof lvl 11 + Squire foods.

My ratings stand for each class, with the exception of classes that were changed the most recently in kTOS. Granted, they’re all subjective/opinionated ratings anyways.

Doppelsoeldner is unparalleled in DPS because of Deeds of Valor. However taking into account the different facets of what makes one successful in ET, the place it wins over other common DPS check jobs becomes bosses. in AoE DPS, the other jobs can and often do a better job.

I take the entire tower into account. SR and Elementalist are far superior in the earlier floors if you want to give these kinds of DPS jobs similar supporting elements.

It’s a good class - probably the most reliable of the Swordsman tree, but for it do what it needs to do takes a lot of caretaking.

If I’m not wrong it’s 100 crit rate bonus. 50 (base) + 50 from futur Wild Nature attribute changes (10 c.rate * number of Feral Stacks, wich is 5 max).

OTOH, nice video! =)

That doppel is savage. Whats your critical rate and critical attack?

crit attack and crit rate is pointless now, is easy to keep up with 100% crit as long as u have quicken and u add dex.

the key to the savage is “AOE ATTACK + X” equipments and headgears, the weapon is stage 6.

is swordsman2 better than highlander for doppel3?
im lvling a swordsman atm. going doppel.
i wanna know why you picked swordsman2 over highlander.
is restrain better than the 50% crit attack from highlander?

some people go for swordsman3 and just put highlander 1 for the crit atk attribute and is mainly taken for max pain barrier to utilize cyclone without interruptions

There’s no “better”, it all depends what do you want for your Doppelsoeldner, how much effort/money are you willing to put in it and having a team to support your character.
There’s guides to help your choice, trying to follow someone will get you frustrated if you can’t get at the same level and quit.

Sw2 > Barb 3 > Dop 3 is better.

Having restrain vs no restrain is huge. Rank 8 monsters hit like a truck, I can’t imagine how I can stay alive without restrain + cyclone many times.

PD and Miko are as much support as Wugushi are. Especially Plague Doctor probably only has the Green icon because of poison. The actual support pool of PD isn’t really good because the focus is mainly dmg.
And Miko with Hamaya is a stronger dps than Elelock already.

What @DieHardLancer said is actually true. There is also a vid somewhere here in the forum of a PD that made I think around 130/150 Solmiki 1F alone.
If you really think these guys are support than I guess I am running ET Solmiki with Fencer and 4 Supports. :sweat_smile:

But anyways: That’s a good time for the DPS checks.

i know there’s no “better” builds.
im just asking which one is more viable for end game contents since i myself doesn’t even have a rank 7 yet. so i dont know what it’s like end game.
