I have class reset left and want to make pure PVE (ET/Vel) build. How does DoppelC3 builds hold up vs Dragoon builds?

I only ask because i see so many Dragoons, i get the feeling they’re superior at the moment?

Question based on pure PVE purpose, assuming same gear/equal gear used.

It’s because dragoons are much easier to use and require less investment than doppels.
But give the doppel proper supports (like diev+falc+chrono) and you’ll see it do better damage than goons overall.

I appreciate the straight forward answer! I’ll hit up Doppel3 then. Just didn’t want to invest hundreds of millions to do half the damage.
if you start from scratch playing solo and unfunded, dragoon is waaay better.
their standard build paths lets them roll with high armor and high block
some build paths take peltasta making them great at farming.
doppels on the other hand do ridiculous damage, lots of multi hit attacks with high skill factors, but they are button heavy, they play in melee range making them feel squishier than usual, better to make a doppel as a 2nd character for boss killing with parties imo
