I’ve gotten so used to just speeding through the story by mashing the B button and grabbing the quest instead of reading the dialogue. Something that could short circuit this and give more substance to the game would be forcing us to read the dialogue to choose the right choice. Right now I’ve got the gist, but I’m sure I’m missing 99% of the story because of this. Not that it matters right now, as most of the story is roughly translated (but not fun to read).
I understand this is the beta, but in the official release there’s going to be a lot less reason for the player to be able to blast their way from quest to quest without reading what the NPCs say.
